I sit down at my desk and look to my right and see Charlie laying his head on the desk. "Are you trying to take a nap?" i ask him with a chuckle "Yes, Yes I am thank you very much." he announces confidently "Let me guess. You didn't get any sleep last night because of exams?" I ask him still looking down at him "Yep. Correct." he says proudly "Charlie please sit up." the teacher says looking over at us "Okay.." Charlie whines siting up "Now on with the thing I was about to say.." the teacher says turning to look at the board "Ah yes, as I was saying we are doing a scientific project with people You haven't worked with before." the teacher says smiling and turning to the class "But,  I  will be choosing the people you work with "Violet Davidson with Crystal Andrews, Matthew Emily with Alex Williams, Tara Jones with Darcy Olsson, Emily Anderson with Marcus Jacobs, Imogen Thomas with Jack Karls, Tao Xu with Elle Urgent, Aled Mark with Sahar Liah and the last three will be all partners. That is Nicolas Nelson, Charlie Spring and Ben Hope." I look over to were Ben was sitting and he was just as surprised as me and Charlie were. Me and Charlie look at eachother eye-to-eye 'Well, This is stupid as hell..' I thought to myself looking away and slumping into my chair "This sucks." I say looking back at him again.

'this is stupid. I'm working with my ex-boyfriend. Great.' i think to myself nuzzling my face into my arms."It's ok I won't let him anywhere near you." Nick says as he puts his hand on my shoulder "Okay.." I say looking up at him with a smile. He smiles back down at me and says "Do you trust me?" "Obviously." I answer him back instantly still smiling at him

(After school)

Me, Nick and Ben walk over to Nick's with all the homework and studying things. "Are we almost Thereeeeee." Ben whines "Yes. Yes, we are almost there.  Now  will you stop complaining?" Nick says annoyed "Fine." Ben says crossing his arm " Were here." Nick say looking at the house proudly " Finallyyy " Ben whines walking to the door with us. Nick opens the door and greets him mom "Hey mom!" he exclaims "Hello Nicky." She says Happily. "I'm just doing a scientific project with Charlie and his Ex.." "That Ben Hope..? you told me about?" "Yep." "Ok." "Come on guys let's go upstairs." Nick says going up the stairs "Uhhh, Ok..?" Ben says confused as me and him walk up the stairs behind Nick.

Ben looks at the time. "Oh shit. I gotta go." he says grabbing his things "Ok, Goodbye" Nick says trying to be nice. After Ben leaves Nick turns to look at me "Hey Char, are you okay? you haven't talked all night.." he says with a worried look "I'm fine. It's just that seeing.. Ben. My Ex. The one beat me up thinking I told people about him. the one s3xualy assaulted me. The one who hides behind the face of popularity.." I say with tears filling my eyes. Nick cuts me off by giving me a tight hug. Then he pulls away with tears in his eyes with him hands on my shoulders. my hands cup his cheeks, As I while the tears away I say  "Don't worry about me I'll be fine darling." He gets this amazed look "Darling?" He questions me. "Yes." I say smiling at him "I love you char." he says smiling back at me "I love you too Nick." I say as I give him another hug "Your best boyfriend I could ever ask for.." I say hugging him as tight as I can. While we were hugging there my phone buzzes, I dig in my pocket and grab my phone. It's a text from my mom

Mom ❤️
Hey are you coming home
or are you going to
stay the night at Nick's?

I answer her back saying I was going to stay the night. "Let's go to sleep love." Nick says laying in his bed "Okay, Okay." I say climbing into his bed. We cuddle with Henry and Nellie and fall asleep watching Avengers.
