I stab my ear with a pen,
& roll my eyes back to see what is in there.
I poke around, pop my pen out of my skull; with it, a     piece of brain,
Attached
      To the ink ball.

A thin thread between my brain and pen & out my ear, dangling like
a spider web.
Thoughts, like
Spiders ticker from my skull.

I pull on the web of brain again &
It tickles my ear.

I jerk it up and down and side to side till I hear nothing but a
                               buzz
A fly scrabbles out my ear, down my neck &
                                                             Onto my shoulder
Where it sits,
Rubbing its hands,
Agreeing with the overflow
of thoughts & ideas
in my hand

My vacant head rests,
on the page
where the spiders reside.
