Marinette hummed on her way to work that morning, not only was she in a good mood, perfectly on time, and had finished decorating her office... she had also finally kissed Chat Noir. This was something that conflicted her and made her extremely ecstatic at the same time. It was honestly contradicting and didn't make much sense, but she loved him despite all of it.

Today was her first day as Adrien's assistant, which not only paid her more but it was super easy because he never asked for much. She stopped by a cafe to get Adrien's favorite latte, and she knew just the way he liked it since they were friends and had gone to that very cafe several times together.

The bluenette walked through the Agreste building feeling refreshed. When she made it to the elevator she began to look through Adrien's schedule so when she read it to him she didn't stutter or make a fool of herself on the first day being his assistant.

Marinette didn't quite understand why Adrien chose her, especially after Lila saying that she would indeed take the position. The elevator doors opened and she stepped out to check in with the receptionist. After clocking in she headed to Adrien's office and gently knocked on his wooden door.

After hearing the muffled approval that it was indeed safe to walk in, she opened the doors and stepped inside. Adrien was sitting with his hands folded on his desk, a chesire smile on his face, and a head full of messy hair. Marinette burst out into laugher at the sight of him, because he usually cleaned up well and was always inclined to combing his hair.

Adrien smirked and shook his head at her genuine reaction, "Ms. Dupain-Cheng, how rude and unprofessional of you." The blonde teased, and Marinette giggled one last time before placing the cup of coffee on his desk. "Mr. Agreste, as your assistant I would suggest that you use the restroom and tame your hair. As your friend, I would say you look like shit-- let me help you."

Adrien chuckled after a playful eye roll, taking a sip of his coffee and standing up. "I would allow you to help me- but I'm afraid you can't reach the top of my head- shortie."

Marinette scoffed and directed the blonde to sit back down in his office chair. She pulled a small brush out of her purse and began to part his hair accordingly. Adrien enjoyed the whole thing, closing his eyes at the feeling of her dainty hands combing through his golden blonde locks.

He sort of wished he was Chat Noir right now so he could grab her and pin her on his office desk, kiss her like crazy, and then watch her walk out like nothing had happened.

"You're hair is really soft..." Marinette said softly, a slight blush painting his skin. He couldn't explain why, but that specific comment made him want her even more.

She placed her brush back into her bag, clearing her throat before reading his schedule. Apparently he had a model shoot at three that day, and he wasn't looking forward to it. He was looking forward to going back to Marinette's apartment after work that evening- which once again reminded him that he needed to set some ground rules.

The blonde carried on with his day like usual, and after work he decided against committing a crime before stepping foot into Marinette's bedroom.

A good decision really.

Before the bluenette could even greet him properly- as Chat Noir- he eagerly pressed his lips against her own in an urgent need. He had been chatting with her, talking to her, and wanting her all day with explicit patience. And now he was able to break the rules as Chat Noir, like usual.

Her words were immediately muffled against his mouth, and she closed her eyes and stood on the tips of her toes to cup his face. She felt his gloved hands slide down her waist to grip her hips as his lips overlapped her own. She hadn't had sex with him, and last night they had had their first kiss.
