Chapter 3

Kiara said she was at her condo, kaya dumiretso nalang ako sa unit niya.

I didn't need to knock dahil alam ko naman ang password ng keypad lock ng pintuan. 'Bestfriends Connections'

I opened the door and there i saw my bestfriend fixing the table, i saw that she bought my comfort food, brownies and cookies and cream flavored ice cream.

"Kiara."

"Cas." Tawag niya sa akin, alam niya na may problema ako kaya naisipan ko na pumunta sa'kanya, she knew i was sad, she hugged me tight like she knew i needed it right now.

"Sige, iiyak mo lang 'yan Cas, mamaya mo na ikwento sa akin, kapag okay ka na" She said those comforting words to me.

She let me cry until i calm down, Kiara gave me water para mawala ang sinok ko dahil sa kakaiyak. She also placed those comfort foods of mine.

"Share tayo, Kiara." I gave her the box of brownies and gave her the other cup of ice cream.

We spent the day listening to our kwentos and Kiara suggested na mag night walk kami sa Intramuros. Kaya naman excited na ako, dahil minsan nalang kami lumabas ni Kiara na kami lang dalawa.

Dinala ko din yung pinaka-favorite kong camera, siyempre para may remembrance ako sa araw na ito.

I wore grey mom jeans a white fitted hoddie and a black leather jacket, incase na lamigin ako mamaya.
I also wore my cute boots.

At dahil dala ko naman yung kotse ko ako na ang nag-insist na yung car ko ang gamitin namin.

"Kiara, tara na!" I shouted outside her room.

"Wait, inaayos ko lang yung dadalhin ko, Mauna ka na sa parking." She answered back.

"Okay, I'll wait for you there."

I waited for Kiara sa parking, After a few minutes she finished and ready na kami pumuntang Intramuros.

While we're on our way, narinig ko na may kumukulong tiyan, Kiara and I both laughed.

"Kain muna kaya tayo, Kia. Di mo naman sinabi sa akin na gutom ka na din, kanina mo pa ako inaasikaso tapos kinalimutan mo sarili mo, hay nako." Panenermon ko sa'kanya.

Dumaan muna kami saglit sa Isang Fastfood Chain at umorder sa Drive Thru.

"Ano order mo Kia?" I asked her.

"Ano ba? Hmm? Isang chicken burger tapos fries, yung drinks kahit Coke nalang."

Tinanguan ko siya at saka nagtanong ang crew sa akin.

"Good evening ma'am what's your order po?"

"Hello uhm, One chicken burger with Fries and Coke, and One Double Patty Burger with Fries and Coke lang po, thank you." I said politely to the crew.

"That's all ma'am?"

"Opo, yun lang po" I smiled to the girl who took our orders.

We finished ordering kaya inantay namin na matapos yung order namin, we waited 5 minutes until it was already done.

"Kia oh, kumain ka na at kanina mo pa ako inaalagaan." I said to her.

"Ikaw naman Cas, ano ka ba, malamang mahalaga ka sa akin kaya kita inaalagaan, and you're like a sister to me 'no!" Aniya at ngumiti sa akin.

I felt assured when Kia always say that she treats me like a sister. Kia will always say those words to remind me that not everyone in this world will leave you, some is willing to stay and be with you always.

We arrived na sa Intramuros kaso wala masyadong tao kaya medyo masusulit namin ni Cas kumuha ng pictures.

"Sandal ka d'yan Kiara." Ani ko at nag-pose naman siya. I did capture so many photos of Kiara and also the nature. Kiara also captured photos of me.

I posted Kiara's picture in my Instagram and the caption is 'my safe place.'

Pagkatapos ng mala-photoshoot namin ni Kia, nagpahinga kami at nilabas yung blanket na dala namin at inilatag namin ito, humiga kami parehas at tanaw namin ngayon ang kalangitan.

We saw how the stars were brightly shining in the sky, the waxing gibbous moon was also shining. The night was so peaceful, it makes me calm.

It made me forget all of the worries i have right now. Kiara by my side made me at peace too. While I'm lost in my thoughts, someone texted Kiara.

It was Kuya Kei. Kiara's Older Brother. He was asking if where was Kia right now.

"Uwi na tayo, Kiara." I said to her, "Hanap ka na ata ni Kuya Kei, eh".

"Tinext ko na siya, sabi ko kasama kita, kaya hayaan mo na, minsan na nga lang tayo ulit magbonding ng tayong dalawa lang eh." She assured me that everything's fine.

"Cas, may shooting star, wish tayo dali!" Kiara said excitedly.

I nod to her and i closed my eyes.

I wish that Kash could gave me a chance to explain my side and to have my friends by my side, always.

After i said my wish i opened my eyes, i saw that Kiara was still wishing to the shooting star. That's why i thought to capture this moment.

Kiara heard the clicking sound of my camera, she opened her eyes and saw the film slowly coming out off my instax.

"I'll keep this with me." I said to her.

"Eh ako? Wala akong remembrance?" She asked me while looking to me with her puppy eyes.

"Eto nalang oh, ikaw kumuha ng litrato na 'yan eh." I gave her my polaroid photo looking at the left side.

When i saw my screen light up i saw that it was past 2 am in the midnight. We decided to go home and Kia offered me to stay at her condo since wala namang pasok tomorrow.

We arrived at the condo, Kia and I did our night routine and she gave me a pair of white pajamas for me to use.

Nakasanayan na din namin ni Kiara na matulog magkatabi simula nung bata pa. Kaya tabi ulit kami matutulog ngayon.

"Sweet Dreams, Cas. Love you." She said.

"Sweet Dreams Kia, Love you." I answered back.

The night was calming and because of the tiredness, i felt asleep faster than I expected.
