Let me introduce you to five amazing women from the TPoTW series - five powerhouses whose destiny is linked to Life itself.
Today, we will get acquainted with Oxford University's prodigy, Feeyona Fiza Acharya.
We all have this one friend who knows everybody and is popular not because they are a star or a celebrity, but because they have this magnetic charisma drawing everyone to them. Meet British-born Feeyona (Fio) Acharya, who is the equivalent of a superstar at Oxford University. She is a conversation starter, the loudest in a crowd, and the one with the last word for almost any conversation even one she is not part of. Yet, nobody sees her as obnoxious. Instead, she is the perfect candidate for activism and the best friend everyone does not know they need until they meet her.
It goes without saying that as a freshwoman, Feeyona founded the Green Beacon, an ecological movement inspired by young Greta Thunberg's passionate YouTube videos. Years later, the now registered movement has been endorsed by the University's board and has a following beyond the boundaries of Oxford and includes people from all walks of life. The message resonated with the masses and the messenger has a quasi-messiah aura.
Feeyona has recently completed her paleobiology studies with the highest honors. She is on the verge of becoming a world-renowned scientist following a groundbreaking discovery the University conducted in Antarctica.
Fio's brother, Parshuveer, and she are non-identical twins, And Fio is the eldest of the two, a position she takes full benefit of. Her parents are marine biologists and lecturers at Oxford. Dr. Rahul Acharya, Fio's father, is originally from Mysore, Bengaluru, India, and a well-respected member of the University and was the head of the Antarctica expedition. Dr. Eiesha Acharya, the family's matriarch, is of Indian Parsee origin. Their inter-ethnic marriage had created a familial rift back home, in India, prompting the couple to choose the UK as their new home. However, with their growing international fame as marine biologists, they soon received a lukewarm welcome from their families and the twins would travel to India every year for the holidays. However, each family chose their favorite. Thus, Fio spent more time with her dad's South Indian family.
Besides her parents, Fio looks up to Joyce as her intellectual idol and big sister. Following her Antarctica discovery, she also found an artifact that she hid and gave to Joyce in all confidence. They will learn this artifact is one of six Somatheia and its discovery by Fio was not a mere coincidence.
Connect the dots and pick the breadcrumbs chapter by chapter to finally understand the secret behind the Somatheias and its importance for these five women and the world...
