OBSESSION: Sisters of Dawn

Chapter 5

Being in the same space as them accumulated too much attention. Gossips from different grades and looks of curiosity that nearly questioned our privacy, that is why we all decided to hide in the walls of one of their private rooms.

It was at the top most part of the cafeteria building, only accessible to them, from what I've heard. A vip section.

The amount of emotions I felt when we had the chance to even enter such prestigious room gave me honor and nervousness. My feelings were all a mess in a mixed salad of emotions, bitter and sweet at the same time, it nearly drove me insane my other brain had to stop the other from pulling Rosè and reject their proposal to stay their and just dive in the stares of all the students. Yet of course my introverted self accepted their words.

We all sat around a rectangular table inside the private room that neatly accommodate all four of us, four girls with different and similar backgrounds, two of which are the literal sisters that owns this school. I don't even know how we got to this point, how we are now facing the two most important personalities in this school...in this country.

"I'm sorry if we had to move places, we thought it was too loud outside and it would make you two uncomfortable" The black haired beauty- Jisoo- broke the silence as she bowed her head.

"Please, you don't have to bow your head..." Rosè shakily moved her hands to signify them to stop bowing. I nodded my head to show I agree with her.

"We're actually very thankful t-that you two thought of our c-comfort and-" I tried voicing out my thoughts as well but the look the feline eyed girl gave me made me stutter and forget the words of gratitude. "Uhm- t-thank you" my mind decided on the simplest words as my gaze change to anywhere but their eyes...her eyes...

"No worries" I heard a giggle coming from all of them, even my friend beside me and it only made the blush in my face turn into a deeper shade of red.

"Cute" Now my mind is playing games with me as I heard a sweet voice mutter. I wasn't nowhere near cute, I was a mess.

"Well, how about we order our food first then let's talk?" As soon as those words came from Miss Jennie Kims mouth- Rosè- who has been poking me, teasing me since earlier because of the color on my cheeks, stood up, with her hands on the table, and shouted a loud 'yes!' that made me want to shield my ears from the echo.

I could see the President smile at her and it made me raise a brow silently at the way her eyes sparkled like she was amused of my friend, amused of how much of a glutton she is? That can't be. Her eyes screams a deeper meaning than a simple amusement.

I suddenly grew scared. But what was I scared of? My friend having a female admirer? Or the mere fact that the eyes that seeks her shows a dark void that gave me nothing close to comfort?

My gaze then focused on my smiling friend, she was still up on her two long legs, muttering to herself about the foods she'll order when the door suddenly opened. I moved my attention to the open door when I noticed Jennie Kim was looking at me the same way Jisoo Kim was looking at Rosè. She smiled when our eyes met but soon broke the contact to see who entered, the smile becoming one of annoyed.

Her expression morphed so quickly I ask myself what was the real her.

"Are you ready to order Ladies?" The one who abruptly entered, a guy in a white uniform asked as he held a paper with one hand and a pen on the other. I stared at him in disdain. Does he not have any respect? Immediately opening the door without knocking and asking to enter. Even someone like me knows simple etiquettes.

Bitter thoughts ran through my head at his presence, yet I knew not to speak as I was nothing but an insignificant background. I could see it in his eyes with the way he looked at me. He was staring at me with questioning gaze. I felt small. I wanted to cower down and hug my knees in a corner.
