Hailee's P.O.V

Monday, the day I dreaded since I arrived in Los Angeles, yet the one I looked forward to the most. I was starting my new intern job at my dream company, and I was finally one step closer achieving my life's dream.

But ever since Friday the only one who has been in my dreams was Y/n. Something about her, the way she smiled, and smelled was so familiar that if felt like that was all I could think about. For the past 2 days nothing was on my mind but that beauty.

I told Ella about y/n and how we hit it off well, and how we almost hooked up. Of course she had to tease me and everything, telling me it was about time I got some, but was a little disappointed y/n had to leave. SHE WAS DISSAPOINTED that I didn't get laid. How? Why? And why did I agree with her. But still, there was something about y/n that made everything seem, surreal.

The way she touched me, kissed me, held me. It was like she had been doing it all her life. She was gentle in every way but rough at the same time. Damn I bet she would of been good in bed.

I let out a deep breath, banging the side of my fist softly into my forehead. God I have to stop thinking about her like that. Sex isn't the important thing right now. Part of me wanted to go look for her, but the other part just told be to drop it and remember why I came back to L.A.

And that's what I did. Waking up early in the morning, I took a shower and then debated about an hour on what to wear for my first day on the job. After that, it was time to make breakfast, but the nerves running around my stomach made it so hard to eat. I was so anxious I just decided to get it over with and just head to the office. At least there I can take in the work environment and forget about y/n who wont leave me fucking mind.

L.A why does there have to be so much traffic, especially so early in the morning. I knew it was going to be a hectic day the moment I stepped outside and got into Ellas car.

"You're okay?" she asked sitting back in her seat trying to calm her road rage.

"I'm fine just nervous. I don't want to make you look bad" I tell her biting my lip. It was because of Ella that I was even able to get a shot at working at the company. When I graduated Ella heard about how the company wanted to hire new candidates. Well when she looked into it, she heard that the reason for the expansion was because there was going to be a new C.E.O in the company and they wanted to make everything new, fresh.

A lot of people made references and Ella decided to put my name into the intern pool. Technically Ellas name and job are riding on my shoulders and if I mess up, I might cause my best friend her career. This is both of our dreams. To work together in a field we both love and enjoy. But if im not good enough, or screw everything up like everyone always says I do... then everything both Ella and I worked for would be for nothing. And I'll be the one known as the girl who ruined her career before it even started and took her best friend down with her.

I shook my head hoping to get rid of that thought. I didn't realize that we were at the building already. I looked out the window seeing the giant building that over looked the city, and behind it was a view of the beautiful Hollywood Hills. If you looked hard enough you could see the Hollywood sign and the Observatory.

Wow, was the only thing I was about to say.

Apparently Ella heard me since she said, "Just wait until you get inside" she smiled. Opening my door, the warmth of the day could be felt in the parking garage of the building. People were speeding walking out of their cars, other jogging, one girl had a piece of toast in her mouth as she sprinted from one end of the parking lot towards the other. Everyone scrummaging in their bags looking for something as they stood next to an elevator.
