I sat there in utter bewilderment, the evidences presented to the court were clear and vivid, yet that thought still hovered over him, the thought that the fat man sitting at a distance away from him will overturn all the evidence. It wasn't too long till the judge stood to give the final ruling.
"The jury has come to a final conclusion, the accused, Mr Samuel Loman has been found innocent of all the charges levelled against him on the grounds of lack of evidence. Court dismissed".
"Lack of evidence my foot, that pompous and arrogant smirk on his face gave him away, he had been bribed by that perverted jerk Mr Loman. How could he possibly sexually assault his worker and get away with it" My thoughts grew and with that a growing anger in me which I could not contain.
I looked towards the defendant's box, a lady, dressed in tattered clothes, sat by her lawyer crying, one could tell she was poor by her tattered look. I felt sincerely remorceful for her, she was the poor victim of Mr Loman, her stupid lawyer had been probably bribed to sabotage her case. I looked around and I knew deep down inside me that the court had turned to a political place where the rich ruled the minority, and since I wasn't as patient as others, I knew I couldn't wait for karma to take its place, I had to defend the minority and what better way to do that than to eliminate the rich.
