"Shoot her and I'll shoot each and every one of you." Jungkook says looking deep into my eyes and they all put their guns back.

"You better explain or else you'll never see me again." I pull on his shirt and it reveals some bandages.

"Do you want the long or short version?"

"Long." I grip the back of his neck and push him down before I walk inside and push him onto the sofa.

"Argh fuck." He rubs the back of his neck and one of the buff men come in with the envelope and places it onto the table. "What's that?" He groans in pain.

"I'll show you once you're done explaining." I take it and sit next to him but keeping a large distance. "Now explain yourself." He drops his hand to his lap and reaches out to hold my hand. "Don't."

He sighs and runs that hand through his hair. "My dad." He sighs once more. "He used to be a leader— mafia leader if it had to be specific. It's been passed down for generations to the point where it's become an heirloom of some sort.

Every first male that was born in the family had the role of taking over the gang when their father retires and I was that first male." He looks at me for a second. "We don't hurt innocent people, only people that wrong us or start a type of war.

I'm the leader in the gang and have been for 5 years and I don't plan on resigning if that's something you were going to ask me to do." He looks back at me. "In the past, the identity of the leaders were public and everyone in this type of work knew who each leader was of each gang but I changed it. Nobody knows my identity and when I go out for any missions I go as if I'm one of the followers."

"Okay okay stop there." I lick my lips. "How the hell did you get a job with kids? And why? You're supposed to have a full DBS check."

"I got a job with kids because I genuinely do love kids but it's also my cover if anybody suspects me. How? I have connections—"

"Oh my god Jungkook!" I hold my head with my elbows on my knees. "You're putting children and parents in danger. You're putting Nabi and Misun in danger!" I stand up and throw the envelope at his face. "You're using children as a shield!"

It falls to the floor and the pictures and note slide out making the both of us look at it. He leans over and picks one of the pictures up of him standing in front of a man tied to a chair and him wearing silver metal dusters.

"Who gave these to you?" He quietly asked picking up another picture of him in another brutal act.

"I don't know. Some woman came in my room through my window and left that on my bed. I'm pretty sure she was looking through my room though because I caught her going through a box under my bed of the twins' baby stuff." I sit myself back down and rub my eyes.

"I think I know who it was." He chucks the pictures on the table and clenches his jaw.

"I'm not mad at her." He looks at me. "I'm mad at you, because you lied to me and put my family in danger." I shake my head.

It turns silent and none of us say anything for a while so I stand up and start walking towards the door but he's quick to also stand. He turns me around by my shoulder and slides his fingers over my skin to cup my cheeks gently.

"You can't go." He shakes his head and I look up to his eyes that were full of tears. "You can't, I love you too much to let you go."

I ignore his confession. "Does Yoongi know?" He shakes his head and leans it against my forehead where he closes his eyes.

"No, no, none of them know." He licks his salty lips and takes a deep breath.

"Stop crying." I whisper wiping his cheeks and he leans into my hand.
