Chapter 1: THE BEGINNING ♡

It is said that FIRST LOVE is the purest form of love. Their is no ulterior motive,lust or any other kind of feeling except for love or liking for the person.
And that FIRST LOVE OF mine happened when I was 10 years old. I know it sounds absurd that a 10 year old girl knows about love and stuff. Sounds funny right?
But do all the first loves have a good and happy ending.

I'm Cho Y/N. I'm 16 years old now! So my story starts when I was 8 years old. I had this guy in my class KIM TAEHYUNG. He was also my classmate in the previous year but we didn't really got to know each other or had a conversation.
It was my first day in the 3rd grade of middle school. And my teacher made me sit with Taehyung. He looked very cute and was very kind. We became frenemies. We used to tease each other, laugh with each other, become sad after getting scolded from the teacher after doing mischiefs and play together.
At that time I didn't know these mere events which I considered as common events back then will become the most cherished memories of my life and I will think of it as one of the wonderful days I have ever spend with him.
The next few years passed like a flash of light with us being all happy.
2 years down the lane with all the times we've spend with each other now became lovely memories.
Now we were in 5th grade and our classes changed becoz of some subject changes.
We were in different classes yet we used to see each other and spend some time by playing with each other in our lunch break.
KIM TAEHYUNG was the football captain of our school back then and me your CHO Y/N was a nerdy topper of her class.
The cliche troublemaker and nerdy girl's love story you must be thinking.
But life is not always rainbow is it?
Life's much more harder that we think it is !
I know being a 10 year old we dont understand anything about emotions. We are still in our dreamworld.

Y/N POV:
It was just a normal day for me in the school, I went to the washroom and after doing my business I came out and was walking in the corridor to go to the playground as it was our games period.
Passing by the corridor I heard someone call out my name. I saw he was one of my classmates and close friends Jimin in his football Jersey.
Going towards him I asked "What do you want ?"
"There's something I wanna ask " he said
"What do you wanna know ?" I said not being really intrested in the conversation that we were having.
"Do you know KIM TAEHYUNG ?" he asked
"Yes, he's my friend. What about him?"
And there I saw Taehyung peeking out of the door.
I was about to call him but what Ji-min said made my eyes go wide and my poor heart skipped I dont know how many beats at once.
"Y/N, Taehyung likes you " Ji-Min said
And I just kept staring at Taehyung for some time and then I JUST WALKED AWAY FROM THERE!!!

The 16 year old me wants to scream and tell the 10 year old Y/N to not walk away from the scene and face her FIRST LOVE , and confront him about what his friend said about his feelings. To clear the confusion what his actual feelings were for her and just not walk away.
But what happens in the past cannot be changed even if we want to change it very badly now.
Y/N choose to walk away. She walked away with her heart racing, hands shaking, uneven breathing. Because she got to know that her first ever crush, the boy who she likes maybe likes her back. She felt like there is a little hope maybe.

Y/N's POV
I went to the classroom and sat on my seat while staring at the blank blackboard in front of me replaying about what just happened earlier.

My thoughts got interrupted by a familiar voice
"Hii Babes! Why are you sitting alone in the classroom instead of being on the playground" Ahra my best friend asked.
"Nothing, it's just that I'm not feeling like going out to play today ." I replied.
"Are you feeling ok? Do you have a fever or something?!? Ahra's caring side popped suddenly as she kept her hand on my forehead to check if I had a fever.
"Ok thank goodness you don't have a fever, but do you need to see the nurse?" Ahra asked concern laced in her voice.
Nope! I'll be fine after taking a nap for sometime don't worry about me you should go and play outside" I said.
"No I'm gonna stay................
Ahra's voice got interrupted by
"Ahrayaaaaa.....let's go outside it's such a nice day today ." Jimin spoke.
"Aahh Jiminie.....I cant come with you I will stay with Y/N as she is not feeling good." Ahra said
"But she was perfectly fine a while ago what happened all of a sudden....." Jimin said and then he realized what was the matter with me and smirked while looking at me.
"Baby, I think something is really wrong with Y/N's heart. She really would need to go to the nurse's because her heart might explode anytime" Jimin teased me.

I just rolled my eyes not finding anything funny in his sarcastic comment and ahra was confused AF about what was happening around her.

"Jimin did you hit your head somewhere or what? Why are you blabbering nonsense." Ahra said.

Jimin was going to answer Ahra but then he saw KIM TAEHYUNG standing at the door of the classroom.

"Ahra I guess we should get going. I want to spend time with you." Jimin said while smiling not so innocently.
But I should stay with Y/N Jimin we are anyways going to hangout after school." Ahra said .
"No ,baby you don't have to worry about Y/N. See Taehyung is here he will stay with Y/N. Jimin said.
Jimin winked at Taehyung and smirked at me.

On the other side I was really feeling nervous as jimin said that taehyung will be with me.
My face became like a red tomato by seeing taehyung there and my mouth was frozen no words were coming out of it.
"Yes, Ahra Jimin's right you should go with him I'll be fine dont worry about me." I gave Ahra a nervous smile.
"Ok but take care of yourself and text me if you need me. Ok?" Ahra said.
Before Ahra could open her mouth to speak further Jimin dragged her out of the classroom.
"OMG Jimin..........."Ahra was saying something and then her voice faded.

Author's POV:
Now there were only two living souls present in that classroom staring into each others eyes not knowing what to say or to be precise they did not know how to start a conversation.
After sometime Taehyung cleared his throat and put a stop to their lovely staring competition that was going on.
Y/N looked away feeling shy and got up to go out of the classroom. As she reached where Taehyung was standing and was going to go out of the door, Taehyung held her wrist and asked
"Where do you think you are going ?"
"To the nurse's." Y/N replied.
And he brought Y/N in front of him so now they were facing each other.
"You can go but before going I have something I wanna tell you." Taehyung said.
"O-okay g-go ahead" Y/N stuttered.
