i cant believe el broke up with me, and she told me "you never say i love you" i did, well 1 time when she was trying to save max that one time at argyles pizza place thing, maybe more i dont know but still, so what if i dont say "love, mike" its not like she ever said "love, el" in her letters. * sighs * whatever its fine, will is supposed to be coming over today since i invited him to talk about what happened
~3rs person POV~
mike dressed himself and waited for will, he heard a knock at the door and opened it, it was will "oh hey will!" he said, but he looked upset "uh are you okay?" he asks will with a concerned look "im fine, can we just go to your room please" will says trying to be a bit positive. they go to mikes room and sit down and will breaks the silence by saying "whyd you want me to come over" mike looked over at him "because el broke up with me and well youre my best friend i thought youd be able to he-" mike said but before he could finish will cut him off "you never invite me fore anything but now? just because youre heartbroken you want me here for you? when are you gonna be there for me you never call" will said trying not to raise his voice too much. mike stared at him not saying anything because he knew it was true, he only invited him so he had comfort, he never called, and he startes realizing what that must've done to will. "im so-" will cut him off again "you think an apology is gonna help? i gave ypu so many hints i liked you and i even projected myself onto el when i gave you that painting and i-" he stopped, he realized he just confessed his feelings to mike out of anger he didnt mean to both of them were silent.
~Mikes POV~
he likes me? wow. well actually the more i think of it i think i just dated el because shes the only girl who didnt think i was weird so i didnt want her to leave, i guess.. i never actually liked her. and tbh i think i love will, i mena hes been my best friend forever and he hasnt left my side even after what i did.
~Wills POV~
shit shit shit i didnt mean to say that now what he might not wanna be friends anymore fuck. he doesnt even like me back why would i say that.
~3rd person POV~
mike looks at will, will looks at mike. he leans in and kisses will but soon pulls away thinking "shit i didnt ask he probably hates me i shouldnt hav-" before he could continue will says "whyd you sto- i mean dont you like girls only?" trying to cover himself up from what he almost asked mike "actually, i like you will i dont think i really liked el i think i only dated her because she was the only girl who didnt think i was weird." both of them sat there staring at eachother while will blushed and ended up kissing mike.
they ended up hanging out more often and to make it up to will, he asked to play dnd with his new party, hellfire club. "i know we agreed no new parties but trust me, i think youd love this one" mike says introducing will to the party. after hours and hours of playing everyone left and will and mike are the last ones in the basement. "why dont we go to the arcade" mike says with a smile and grabbed wills hand and took him to the arcade. 3 hours pass and they start heading home "hey mike?" will stops walking and looked at mike "yes?" mike says "do you actually like me or just feel bad for hurting my feelings" will says looking a little anxious and upset "what? no. will i love you. you stuck with me even after what i did i shouldnt have done what i did but trust me, i love you alot will and i hope you believe me." mike says going to hug will, with a big smile hugging mike back, will says "i love you too mike." they hold hands and mike walks will home "thank you for taking me home" will says about to open the door "no problem" mike says pulling will into a kiss "goodnight mike ill see you tomorrow" will says smiling and blushing "goodnight" mike says waving goodbye before heading home.
