Chapter 3: Show Me Around?

(Knockout POV)

"You, here, now!" StarScream yelled. Dragonfly walked over and looked up at him.

If I know Dragonfly she's going to-

"Nice heals. Primus does has a sense of humor."

And she did.

StarScream was taken aback and grabbed her by the wrist. "Listen, you, I am his commanding officer," he pointed at me,"and that means that you show some respect." She looked at me and I mouthed,"Go along with it."

She looked back at StarScream and said,"Yes, sir." He released her wrist and smirked. She rubbed her wrist and when StarScream left she said jokingly,"Why can't I just stay out of trouble?" She looked at her wrist and I asked,"Is it broken?" She chuckled and said,"Screamy isn't strong enough to get the Vehicons to listen to him. He can't break my wrist." And this is why I saved her. She's a funny one.

"So. Show me around?" she asked. I pondered it for a moment and then said,"Sure, why not? But first, we need to get rid of that." I pointed to her Autobot symbol. She sighed and said,"Alright. Do it." I asked her to sit on the table and I got to work on her arm. When I was done she looked at it and said,"That actually looks pretty cool." She jumped off the table and said,"C'mon!" She's really weird.

We walked through the door and saw a Vehicon. He looked at me and I nodded my helm and he nodded back. "So, how big is this ship?" she asked. "Pretty big," I responded. We just kept walking silently until I heard a crash around the corner. I ran ahead of Dragonfly and turned the corner. Steve dropped Energon boxes again. "Come on!" I shouted. "Steve! There are five boxes and somehow you can't carry them without dropping them!"

Dragonfly came up behind me and said,"Lemme help you with that." She picked up the boxes and handed them to the Vehicon. Steve went on his way and Dragonfly turned to me. "Is it so hard to be nice?" she asked. "I'm a Decpticon. I don't do 'nice'," I responded. Seriously, has anyone ever met a "nice" Decepticon?

"So," she interrupted my thoughts,"What door leads where?" She motioned to a hallway with around twenty doors in it. "This is where everyone's berths are located. Only Breakdown and myself share a room," I stated. I opened the door and motioned her inside. It wasn't big, it really just had two berths on opposite sides of the room and a table in the center. On the far side of the room in the middle of the wall there was another door that lead to the washroom.

"Cool, so you're like brothers," she stated. I looked at her face and I expected to see her constant smile, but instead I saw a face full of sadness and pain. She shook her helm as if to shake away whatever she was feeling. "What other places are on the ship?" she asked. "Well, if we hurry, we can see them all in about five breems," I responded. Her smile returned and she said,"Lead the way." I smiled back and walked out the door.

Something smashed into me from the left and I stumbled in the opposite direction. "Hey! Watch the finish!" I called. Then I saw who it was. StarScream. Oh boy, here we go again. "And, just what do you think you're doing?" he asked. Dragonfly walked out of my room and saw the Seeker. He whipped around and looked at her. Scrap! "And why was she in your and Breakdown's room?" he added.

"Sir, it wasn't his fault. I asked for him to show me around and this was here we ended up. I'm sorry, sir." she said. Why would she stick up for me? "Humm... I see," StarScream replied. "But you two aren't to go anywhere without SoundWave's supervision. SoundWave stepped up from behind him and Dragonfly nodded her helm. I did the same and said,"Yes, sir." Emphasizing the "sir."

Dragonfly eyed me as if to say,"Don't get yourself into trouble!" StarScream walked away and Dragonfly giggled. She stood on her tip-toes, put her hands behind her back, and pointed her helm to the ceiling in front of her. I smiled and SoundWave made a smiley-face come up on his screen. Dragonfly stopped he impersonation of the Seeker and asked SpundWave,"So. what do you want to do?"

I leaned over to her and whispered,"He doesn't exactly talk..." She leaned back over and whispered,"I know. I'm just really bored." Then she turned to SoundWave and said,"What time is it?" Four numbers appeared on his screen. It read,"2248" or as the humans would say it,"10:48pm." She looked at SoundWave and asked,"Ok what room should I recharge in? Do I get a berth or do I sleep on the floor?" SoundWave's screen flashed the word,"Come" in Cybertronion. Then he walked away.

Dragonfly followed him and before turning the corner looked back at me and waves her servo. Then I was alone. Or so I thought. "You like her," Breakdown said from behind me. "It's so obvious." SCRAP! What's his malfunction? I don't like her! I turned my helm to face him and said,"What makes you think that I like the former Autobot?" He rolled his optics and crossed his arms. "It's plain to see that you didn't spare her and then save her just so she would be loyal to the Decpticons. You like her personality. You like the way she smiles no matter what. You like everything about her."

"Can you read minds or something?" I asked him. "No," he responded. "It's just really easy to tell what your thinking." Meh. What do I care that he knows? Wait! "Do you think she knows?!" I asked. "No doubt. And do you see the way she looks at you?" he said. "What do you mean?"
"You really have no idea do you?"
"What?"
"Oh boy."
I rolled my optics and replied,"That's never going to happen." Is it?
