Kevin didn't know what to think of this. He was flustered and completely frozen, it was like his brain had no signal. He tried to ignore it and finish his task. He thought the task he was given was pretty hard, but he didn't know if it actually was since he never attended a patrol before. He saw other members talking while passing out items, and other members eating cookies.
He kept looking at the paper every time he took a step, just to make sure he was going the right way. Kevin finally got to the place Vinnie told him to go.. The caves.
Kevin took a look inside, it was pretty dark but the bright blue light of the crystals showed a path inside. He took a crystal light and left, quickly tho, the bats inside there were freaking him out.
He squinted his eyes because of the difference of the bright sun outside and the pitch black inside the caves. He now made his way to the market, to buy some flowers. He saw some members passing by, laughing at sarcastic jokes. Kevin ignored it and tried his best not to stick out in the crowd around the market.
Kevin got to the rosarium and bought a few yellow and blue flowers with the crystal.. This felt strangely familiar. His task was now finished, all he needed was to go back to the lockdown.
He'd start walking back, meanwhile thinking of some things. He was really grateful that he was included in an activity! It made him feel really special, even though he wasn't used to it. The other members always mumbled and groaned when they walked past him for some reason. He understood why though, it was fair.
On the way back, Kevin spot a lost envelope with a heart sticker on the front. He thought to himself. ''I should keep this for some day.. Maybe it will be useful.'' He put it in his pocket. He also realized that he didn't have a warrior uniform yet, so if the queen or any of the head warriors found out he was attending a patrol without a uniform, he would be-
''Hey! This way, not that!'' A familiar voice could be heard behind him. He quickly looked back to see Vinnie and the others laughing at the fact he passed by them and didn't stop, showing that he was distracted. He felt embarrassed as Vinnie playfully punched his shoulder.
''Alright, how was it?'' She questions, Kevin nodded in response. ''Okay! Great, you're dismissed!'' Vinnie exclaimed, Kevin panicked for a second before taking the flowers out of his pocket and handing them over to her and running off.
That was a fast move, so Vinnie was left standing there processing what happened. She looks down at the flowers.. And an envelope?
