  The walk to the Mall was relatively easy.  I knew it wasn't super far as Ava chose it cause it was cheap far from her parent's house, and they chose it cause it was close to the mall. I was just worried- about Leif Especially- that they'd end up causing problems on our way. Either seeing something shiny and running off or feeling unnecessarily threatened then proceeding and trying to attack them, and then getting arrested. They didn't, thank god, but the trip hasn't ended yet.

  "This one~" You sang, trying to force that UwU cutesy tone... But it seemed harder and harder every day. Before the boys had shown up, being that super cute and shy girl with flashy clothing came as easy as breathing. At some point, you were scamming people left and right...

 They've only been here for what... Two almost three weeks? And already, trying to keep a smile on your face feels draining.  You don't even feel like doing anything anymore. Every breath you make, every move you take... It's utterly exhausting. You no longer have the motivation to play your favorite games or watch your favorite shows... For a moment, you ponder depression, but maybe you might finally be dying. There was no study on the long-term effects of someone with Rayne poisoning staying with five much less one daemon, it was just supposed to enhance our abilities and make us an even match for them... To kill them, not live with them. Yet here you are, with a prince no less.

  You turned away from them and tried hiding your exhaustion by skipping through the doors, the boys fortunately unaware of your behavior change, shrugged and followed close behind you. Rhys pulled out the book Ms. Oats gave us and tried pronouncing it. Two weeks ago you would have been giggling away at his mispronunciation, but you didn't, instead correcting him. "Potato or Potato soup..." You hummed softly, reading over the ingredients.

  "Soup is a type of healing magic, the sick eat it." Lying about earth magic became second nature. Lying is as easy as breathing. For a moment you felt guilty for lying to the boys, it's all you've done since they arrived... The knowledge of who they are, and what they're really capable of prevents you from righting your wrong. That, and it just seems like too much work to clear up. 

  Rhys had rushed off, and every one quick to follow. The boy was blown away that the words matched, he was even more amazed that everything seemed to be sorted nicely. It was like his own personal wonderland, and for the first time that day, your smile was genuine. 

  You skimmed over the ingredients and told everyone what to look for so no one got duplicates, as well as to meet at one of the registers and you walked away, looking for those few things you need.

   When you met up, it was a good idea not to grab the potatoes... You had gotten the majority of what was needed, they had more potatoes than required, and some random things? You waited patiently by the register, but Asch wasn't having it, ripping the money out of your hand and throwing it at the woman when she was done. Pierce grabbed the paper bag holding and everyone left the store. You trailed behind them slowly, but none of them seem to notice.
