    You hummed, watching Ava freak out, I mean you are too, you just weren't showing it as much, and you don't intend to until you get some time alone.

  "[Name]!" You were pretty greatful for the distraction Ava brought. "Yeah...?" "You got asked on dates a lot right?" "Mhm." You nodded, probably already knowing where this is going. "How do they work?!" "Ava, darling... Just cause I was asked out, doesn't mean I went." Your voice came out flat, monotonously. 

  "[Name]..." You hummed, looking up at the taller, tan male, wondering why everyone keeps trying to get your attention every five seconds. "People have... Tried courting you?" It took you a minute, remembering they associated dates with courtship, but the answer to dates and marriage was the same. "Oh yeah, a few times." You hummed, recalling how much of a dumpster fire those were. You watched an uncomfortable and displeased look cross his face, almost like he wasn't happy about that answer, but it was gone quickly. Even then, it was there long enough to make you feel... Giddy. Was he jealous? Are they capable? For lil' ol' you?

  You laughed softly at their flustered expressions, the two held hands earlier, but you guess they saw it as more of a, follow in [Name's] footsteps, type thing. You looked up at Pierce, his gaze hard and unreadable as he stared at their fingers. You can't tell if he was jealous of Noi, or he was processing information. Fuck, for all you knew, he might have wanted to be Ava in that situation, not like you'd ever know.

  You jumped slightly, feeling his warm hand wrap around yours the way Noi and Ava's were, but it felt different than when you were leading him out of the apartment. You shook your head as you felt your face heat up, trying really hard to bury certain emotions deep down where they'll never be dug up.

  Failing miserably.

  You don't know why, but the word virgin was what caught your attention, thankfully too, as you was able to contain the heat in your face and ears better. You didn't really know what they were talking about, pretty sure it was about Ava though.

  You made your way inside, to the table for the six of you. It was a little awkward, and Peirce is enough awkward for a you to deal with, so you decided to pick up on some other people's conversations. Nosey, you know.

  Most people shared cute couple stuff, making you feel worse. Some people were scolding their kids, someone said something about it raining later, there was this one drama about some guys girlfriend cheating on him with his sister, his mom, AND his dad; but it's justifiable as apparently, she found out he cheated on her first with her best friend and some girl she didn't know, which was his girl best friend... It was pretty entertaining.

  "They both die, are you saying Ava and Noi are gonna die?" You smirked, slowly turning to look over at Devin, his eyes widened in a panic. "NO! IT'S JUST ROMANTIC." "Mhm, sure." "I- How did you two meet!" He quickly tried changing the subject, you were struggling to make something up, but Pierce was not, your hero.

  "We were at the mall, and she couldn't reach something on the top shelf, so she decided to climb it, only to fall onto me. As an apology, she took me out to lunch." You were actually impressed by his story, it was really believable, especially since that has happened... Minus the falling onto a hot guy you got to take out to lunch, you fell on your ass.
