Flashbacks

Dracula's pov

"Vlad, where the heck are you? Father is waiting for us! " Alexandra yells outside of my room. I was 15 years old when me and my siblings went to England for the first time and Father is expecting us to be with him while Mircea and Radu is exploring the town

I have no idea why Father is taking us in England I tried to ask him but he only answered by 'business' but anyway I have no choice but to agree and join him instead being get slapped or getting punched in the face

I exit my room to find Alexandra who crossed her arms and giving me the expression that she's been waiting for me for like forever

"Took you long enough "

"Yeah, yeah I know. Let's go, Father must be waiting for us " We exit the room as we saw was nothing but guards and of course the tall man himself, Father. He was talking to the guards and his servants, he dismissed them as he sense that we are approaching him

He turn around to find us approaching, he still has the stern look on his face when he notice us

"There you are " He said in his deep voice

"Sorry, we're late. Vlad was distracted about something " Alexandra said, she didn't know that the reason why we are late and why I was 'distracted' is that I was covering the bruise from my face and my arms thanks for Father's abuse, I covered it with make up to match my pale skin to not notice the bruises and I am sick and tired of Alexandra screaming with concern about my injuries

Throughout the day all we did was just follow Father and watch him work I think he was trying to lecture us what it's like to be a king or a queen but still going to England to do some 'business' really confuses me. Mircea, Radu, and Alexandra doesn't mind but I do. I really want to know but this 'business' gladly ended

While everyone is gathering to take lunch I decided to look around at England. For context: I have no idea what town of England we were so I just call it England and I am fully aware it is a country

"Vlad! Where are you going? " I turn around to find Alexandra, Mircea and Radu were with Father to dine in for lunch

"I'm just going to explore "

"Alright, be careful, Vlad but be back, ok? " She said, I just raised a thumbs up for her to confirm it and I set off to explore the town

I explore the town and I was amazed of how it looks like. There 20 houses, sea views, and...fish it was beautiful and amazing I just wish I could bring my sketchbook and started to sketch the view. I was so mesmerized that I didn't realize that I bumped into someone

"Oh! I-I'm sorry. I didn't see you the- "

"Don't blame yourself, it should be me who should apologize for not looking " The voice was a woman on her 14 or 15 years of age. I helped her to get up and removed the strands of her brown hair but when I removed the strands of her hair it seems that time has stop. When I removed more of the strands of her brown locks I could finally see her face

"Beautiful... " I muttered, I stared into her yellow eyes. I have never seen someone who has yellow eyes before so I was surprised to see her with yellow eyes but...I didn't even realize that when I muttered the word 'beautiful' I notice her heartbeat quickens as her cheeks were turning red and I just realized that not only that I muttered that word but she also heard it

"I-I'm terribly sorry. I've...I've n-never seen someone or an-anyone who has yellow eyes before " I stuttered, I helped her get the book that has fallen to the ground. The ground was muddy which makes the book covers were covered with mud but I heard her sigh of relief then I notice that the white pages weren't covered with mud so that's how I found out why she let out a sigh of relief
