We walked outside to my black Range Rover and jumped inside. Connor not looking very pleased at the moment. It sure as hell didn't effect me, the sucker had it coming all along. I'm shocked he haven't been noticed before. It's usually the same procedure every morning, him hiding his phone under the table. Kids these days.
"Thanks for that, you moron!" Connor grumbled annoyed as he was referring to the incident by the breakfast table.
I smiled as I shrugged my shoulders innconently.
"It's not my fault you're using your phone secretly under the table, when you know you're not allowed to." I told him stating an obvious point.
"Whatever" he mumbled as he rolled his eyes.
"Are you going to Jacob's party?" Connor asked as he took out his phone and began texting again. Why is he so hung up on his phone anyways? He's checking it every five minute, and if not he's literally using it 24/7. Ugh whatever, he can sleep with his phone for all I care.
I sighed as we stopped at a red light and I began tapping my fingers on the steering wheel because of the slow traffic. We're gonna be late if this is the speed all the way to school. And I can't be late. I have used all my late coming's for this year, and if we were to be late I would get detention and then my coach would kill me. Literally.
"I was planning to, but then there's this stupid dinner party tonight, that I absolutely have to attend do. I don't get the big deal anyway. We have dinner parties all the fucking time. What's so special about this one. I don't even know who's coming at this stupid thing. But I guess I just have to find a way to sneak out. I seriously can't miss out on this thing. If I'm not there my social status will fall, and get crumbled into tiny little pieces" I said dramatically as the light turned green and we could start driving. Finally! Even in a small town like Stratford the traffic is slow around this time of the morning since everyone is on their way to work or school.
"Mom and dad are never letting you go to that party, you know." Connor mumbled as he was into his phone.
"Mom and dad dosen't need to know" I mimicked causing him to roll his eyes at my bitchyness.
...
We drove in to the schools parking lot, and found a free spot, before I killed the engine. Connor mumbled a quick bye before he jumped out of the car and slammed the door shut; our usual morning routine. Both of us bickering at each other for some reason. Sometimes there isn't even a reason, we just do it anyway. What can I say? You gotta love siblings.
Me and Connor aren't exactly best friends, we argue a lot, but at the end, we always support each other. Like every other sibling. It's different with my sister though, we're like best friends, we can talk to each other about all and nothing. I guess I miss her a lot since she lives in New York and I live here in Canada. We only see each other a few times a year, which is sad. You can say we feel something is missing around the house when she's gone.
I reached for my bag in the backseat, before I jumped out of the car. I slammed the door closed and locked the car, before I made my way to the entrance. The schoolyard was already full of people, doing their own business: chatting, last minute homework, skating and so on. I scanned the area looking for my friends, but they was no were to be found. Probably inside. I thought to myself as I placed my car keys in my pocket and greeted a few people as I walked inside were I immediately spotted my friends gathered around the area were my locker happened to be.
I walked towards the others as everybody on the side gave me a small smile, some stares and some people manage to squeak out a small 'hi'. Which I defiantly returned. I'm not some bitch that's mean to everyone because I'm rich and because my family are well known around town, I like to get respected because of how I act and not because I buy it with my money or bitchy attitude.
"Hi guys" I smiled to Ryan, Chaz, Mackenzie and Madison. Who were all standing with mine and Madison's locker.
"Hi, Hello." They all answered smiling at me. Chaz came towards me and gave me a big kiss on the cheek, before he backed away making me look at him with a weird expression before I wiped my cheek with the back of my palm, like his kiss involved dangerous cooties in it. Okay, what is his deal?
"Ew Chaz!!" I grimazed. "I love you and all that.. But seriously, why?" I said and the others laughed at my reaction
Chaz shrugged "Because. Why can't I kiss my best friend on the cheek to show how much I care for our friendship?"
In return I gave him a weird look before I turned towards the others questioning them scepticaly to see if they would tell me the truth.
"Don't worry about it Mia. He lost a bet with Jack on who eat two pizza slices on shortest time!" Madison laughed as she shook her head being used to his childish behavior by now, but thats our Chaz, you just gotta love him.
"Why does that not surprise me." I laughed and the others nodded in agreement. Poor Chaz only pouted and crossed his arms as he leaned against the lockers fixing his attention on his phone instead. Ryan and Chaz are both really close friends of mine. Our gang is kind of me, Kenzie, Madison, Ryan and Chaz. And then there's Justin. Where should I even begin? Speaking of.
"What is so funny?" He asked as he came over wearing his usually fuck-boy clothes loving the idea of all of the girls gawking at his fabulous human being, at least thats what he thinks. Ryan started to tell him, but me being the bitch I'm cut him of, not bearing to be in his presence this early in the morning, or in any other time being for that matter.
"That's non of your business. Bieber!" I told him in an annoyed tone causing the others to roll their eyes on us, probably thinking not again.
"I wasen't asking you, Anderson" he replied back. And I rolled my eyes. I think that's a habit of mine everytime I'm around him.
"Whatever" I mumbled, before I took my chemistry book and shut my locker before I walked away, leaving all of them behind me.
Speaking of me and Justin. We don't get along, at all! We have known eachother our whole life. Our Moms are bestfriends, so we are close family friends with his family. The thing is, Justin is the most popular guy at the school, and he is the captain at the guys soccer team, like I'm on the girls team. So we are basicly rivals. But the thing is we share bestfriends. So we're stuck with each other.
