It was a rainy day and Yae took out a book at the shrine and started reading it, she got so carried away that she didn't even realize what the time was. She got up and started straightening her clothes.
She yawned and asked herself "At this point, is it really even with going?" she started to continue walking until a shrine maiden rushed to her with a terrified look on her face. "how wonderful, another problem for me to solve" she thought with a tired look on her face.
The shrine maiden started begging and crying but Yae couldn't understand a word she was saying since the shrine maiden was mumbling. "Dear, please speak properly, I can't hear you" Yae Said. The shrine maiden apologized and started to actually speak, it was then when Yae actually got worried but she had to stay calm.
The shrine maiden had informed her that the electro archon had gone missing and everything was in chaos. Yae thought to herself "how could this happen,just minutes ago I was reading and everything was peaceful but now everything is in chaos". Yae asked the shrine maiden what she could do and she said to go a place where maybe their archon would be.
Yae went to 5 different places, on the 6th place. She saw what she feared worse. Ei was lying down lifeless on the floor with torn clothes, bleeding and a broken blade. She then saw the traveller next to her with lifeless eyes just staring at her. Yae started tearing up,she shouted "what happened here!". The traveller looked at her with a smile and started laughing. The traveller stood up and held a purple chess piece. Yae then knew it wasn't a ordinary chess piece but a Gnosis. She quickly thought "but hadn't she given it to Kunikuzushi?"
Traveller stopped laughing and told Yae "Miko, you probably are thinking how do I have the Gnosis, well...". Yae looked down at her lifeless God or what she would have said "lover".
She looked and saw Ei started moving. Ei laughed and said "I can't believe someone like "Lady Guji" would fall for a prank like this ". Yae was confused but then looked at the traveller, who started laughing as well. She then knew that it was a prank. Ei then said" Ha! I hope this teasing stops after this prank " the traveller then laughed and said " to think some like Yae Miko would fall for this is hilarious "
In a second Yae walked towards them and started hitting them." you idiots, do you know how scary and terrifying that was! ". The traveller yelled " Hey! Cut it out..!that hurts!". Yae hugged them and then dug her nails into them" if you do something like that again be prepared for the worse " Ei started to giggle. Yae looked at Ei and glared at her. Ei kissed Her on the cheek and then told the traveller" let's go, we don't want to anger her any further " Yae started blushing and ran away to the shrine." I'll get her back! " Yae said
