I hear a chorus of voices starting to end their streams right before I click deafen on my discord tab and start to speak to my chat.
"Alright chat, I'm going to end the stream here for tonight!" I start to say to them, "next stream we will probably get back to my Minecraft world, like what was planned for this stream... before all of this coding mishap happened."
"Bye chat!" I say a final time before hitting the end stream button.
Switching back to my discord tab I unmute myself and patiently wait until the others are finished saying goodbye to their chats as well.
Slouching back into my chair for the first time in a while, I choose to go and grab a glass of water from the kitchen. As I get up, I set my headphones down on the back of my chair.
Schlatt's POV
As all the guys undeafened in the VC I did as well, I'll stay on after to apologize for being a massive dick to coder girl, I thought reaching over my keyboard to grab my water.
"Night guys," I hear Charlie say, followed by a jumble of my friends' voices saying things like "Goodnight" or "Night" and then disconnecting from the call, until it's just Natalie and me.
"Uh, hello?" I question, unsure if she's at her pc.
After a minute or so I hear some shuffling and then a sigh, followed by the sound of her sliding her headphones back on.
"Oh hey, Schlatt," she says when she gets settled down I assume, "did the others already leave?"
"Yeah, they did a few minutes ago, but I wanted to stay behind and say sorry if I came off a bit harsh. My jokes can be a bit uh... distasteful to certain people," I say whilst cracking my knuckles.
I hear a light chuckle through the discord call and breathe a sigh of relief. Wait, why am I relieved that she's not mad at me? I hardly know the girl.
"Hey Schlatt," she says, bringing me back from my thoughts, "are you up for just playing some Minecraft for a bit? I'm going to be up for a while longer," she asks me.
"Yeah sure coder girl"
~~ time skip an hour~~
Natalie's POV
"Here one second Schlatt, my Twitter is blowing up right now," I say while opening my phone.
"It's probably because of the stream. I'm just so famous," he replies, full of himself.
As I open my Twitter I'm flooded with notifications, finding the source of all of the commotion I can't help but laugh.

There was definitely something there during the stream earlier, I ship it 100%
"Oh my god. Charlie posted about us being on the discord call-" I tell Schlatt after reading the top replies.
"Wait, let me check my Twitter too," he says pulling up his app, "oh my god, they think we're flirting-" he says, adding a fake retching sound.
"Well damn am I that bad-" I say, holding in some laughter.
"Well no, but you aren't as cool and as good at coding as I am."
"Ah yes obviously," I start to say, "you know I guess you are the coding comrade. I can't even compare to your legendary skills."
"Well, that was clear the whole time. I don't know how you are just now realizing," he says in a tone that I can only assume means that he's rolling his eyes.
"Well I think we have created enough internet drama for one night," I say, "I'm going to go ahead and hop off for the night, but we should totally stream together sometime soon."
"My chat would love to have a guest on the streams, especially now with this twitter stuff," I finish the last bit of my sentence laughing
"Yeah, I'll definitely stop by during one of your streams soon. Maybe a Minecraft stream."
"Yeah that'd be great, I'm planning on streaming Minecraft soon so maybe then. I'm gonna head out. Goodnight, Schlatt!" I say yawning.
"Night Nat."

This was written at 2:30 in the morning, I'm on my last 3 brain cells. On a plus side the game stray was just released so I get to watch a lot of play-throughs for the game, it looks amazing. Also apologies for this chapter being so short, my three braincells can't process words atm. I am going to go and grab a bowl of coffee ice cream now because it is the best flavor by far
