I'm trying to reach it.
Get me to the light. Get me to the light!
Shadows, alone in their own darkness.
It's mother natures laws.
Laws. Stupid laws.
Keeping us here.
Being a shadow always hiding in my own dark.
No matter where I reach I will always be in the darkness.
I am what scares people at night, I am what follows people when they walk home alone at night.
But maybe someone out there takes
comfort in the darkness
and shadows.
Maybe, just maybe.
Will someone sit in the darkness
listen to music
and I'll finally have a friend.
