"Visions! Hahaha." I laugh. "Are you kidding me?"
"No, of course not. Alice, this is serious." He looks at me with big, blue eyes.
"Ok so what does it mean then?"
"Long ago, there were some people with the power to see the past and future. They had visions just like you; it was very special. But..." He doesn't finish his sentence. That's bad.
"Am I safe?" I ask, afraid.
"Now that it's not a threat anymore, I think you're fine."
"What do you mean it's not a threat anymore? Have the rulers gone soft and let them go?"
"No, Alice, they're dead. She killed them all."
