she knew how toxic the relationship had become, it was built on lies. so if she'd wished for it all to be over, why did it hurt so much when it was?
so many questions. there had always been so many questions. it had been so tiring, with the question 'is it true?' running through her head constantly. it wasn't, of course. most of the things they had said were lies, but arabella would grow to miss them, no matter what state they put her in.
