Chapter 5

After the meeting ended, I accompanied the CEO back to her office and went to my office to grab the documents for the next meeting, when suddenly.

"What are you doing here?" i asked

"Erm, can't I visit you?"

"No you can't."

"You're so harsh"

"How did you even know my workplace?"

"I asked your friends" They responded

"Ugh what do you want now Axel?" I asked annoyed

This is Jayden Axel Z. Sia my ex, anyways he's my friend now, but memories can't just fade right?

"I just want to meet you"

"Ok and?"

"Is it bad to meet my friend now?" He asked back.

"Did you find anyone yet?" He added.

"No, i'm not interested in dating right now, what about you?" I answered his question then asked.

I'm preparing for the next meeting for the CEO as we are talking.

"I found someone"

My world stopped. I looked at him.

"Really?" i said smiling bitterly.

"Yes and she's dead gorgeous" He smiled happily.

"Good for you"

"You'll find someone soon and he'll be the one you'll marry" he smiled again.

Seeing him smiling happily made my heart flutter. But why? we already broke up, these feelings should be gone by now.

"Out of my office now, i'll go to the CEO now" i said in not an angry tone.

"Alright, i'll introduce her to you someday" He said waving then turned around.

"Ok but do make sure that she's smart ok? you can't be together if she's also dumb" i sarcastically said.

"You can't be kidding right now" He looked at me.

"I'm just kidding so go wherever you're going"

"Bye then"

I turned around and went to the CEO'S office. I knocked twice and entered.

"Miss there's another meeting for the Board directors"

"Ah, must be the bussiness proposal that will be held in chicago again"

"What kind of bussiness proposal is it?" asked by me.

"It's about making a new business that will be combining two companies"

"Isn't it going to be hard?"

"It is, but bussiness is bussiness"

"Chicago hah, that's far"

"It is, prepare an announcement for the business proposal"

"Got that Miss"

"The next meeting will start in 1pm Miss"

"Ok"

I left the CEO's office to make a public notice that's going to be pinned on the main board.

Went to my office and opened my laptop to make the notice about the Proposal.

After an half-hour of making the announcement, I went to the supply department to make hard copies.

"Lizele, can i print on one of the departments printer?" i asked.
