Abigail's POV
I was getting myself ready to go to the office, it was Monday morning and my second official day of work. I saw Willow or Mina or well that bitch in her red wig this morning when I had gone out to pick up the mail from downstairs. That stupid cop was leaving her apartment, how could I have been so dumb and believe her?
Because she was a very different person when she was at work, that how. Maybe that's just how she is at work all nice and shit but outside of it, she is a bitch.
I'm not going to be nice with her anymore. Fuck that bitch, I will just treat her like a normal employee. You were literally telling your uncle that you might ask someone from work out on a date. Yeah, that was before, I figured out she was that bitch also, it looks like something is going on between her and that cop anyways.
I took the last sip my coffee and put my tie on. Picked up my car keys, locking my apartment and went to work. Parking my car in my designated spot I got out.
When I walked in Willow walked towards me with a cup. "Your coffee," she said giving me the coffee."So that wig thing..." She started...
"Look Willow it doesn't really matter, everyone keeps their work and personal life separate, you take that to a completely different level with that wig but it's your life and I don't really care. I don't care what you do in your free time and if it doesn't mess with the foundation's name and you continue doing your work properly we will be fine. But if you don't you will get fired I don't care how many degrees you have or where you got them from" I told her as she nodded and I got inside my office.
Damn, that was a good speech and you did not fumble even once. I heard a knock on my door after a minute "Come in" It was Willow. "Yes?" I said looking at her with a stoic face.
"I would like to go over your schedule for the day?" she said and I nodded telling her to continue. "You have a meeting at 12 about the Scholarship grant top contenders. This entire week you have them at 12 as there are 100 names. It's together with Chris Frazo, he is the head of the scholarship grants but as you know you have to send the top 20 to Her Majesty the Queen as she picks them herself." She said and waited.
"Yes, next?" I asked her.
"At 3 you have a meeting with the International Agriculture Institution about this year's grant, they are in negotiations to get it increased as we haven't increased their grant amount for the past 5 years. Also, the insider news is they are pissed about us increasing Green Revolutions grant past 2 years" she said looking at her notes.
"Anything else?" I asked her as I sipped on my coffee.
"Nope, I knew these were going to take a long time so I didn't schedule anything else." She said with a smile. Ok, she was good at her job and trying to make sure my transition was easier that is sweet I guess.
"Cool, if the meeting takes too long I will intercom you to get me a coffee, you make some shit up and get me out. Ok?" I asked her as there was a chance they won't leave my office until I give them the amount they wanted.
"Ok," she nodded.
"You can leave," I said and then focused on my laptop pretending to work. But that thing wasn't even on. when she got out of my office I turned it on and plugged it in. Looking at all the emails I had, half of these are just about the grant that was going to get allocated. God, I hate grant season! I started to reply to all the emails one by one.
After what felt like 100 years I got an intercom. "Your noon is here," Willow said.
"Send them in," I said as I closed my laptop, I will answer the rest of them later.
