Mike looked at the sticky note his mother had just handed him as he walked over to the telephone. He patiently waited for a person to answer on the other side of the phone line... "I hope this is the right number... I hope Will's mother doesn't get mad that he fell asleep here... " mike thought as he waited for a minute as the phone kept ringing.

Mike waited for another minute... He was about to just hang up the phone when he heard a woman's voice speak from the phone "Hello?" He paused before speaking "Uhh Hello Mam, I was wondering if this is Joyce Byers?" Mike waited for a response from the woman on the phone. "Yes, yes this is Joyce Byers... Why did you need to know..." Mike felt a little nervous what if he made a bad impression with Joyce and she didn't let him see her son again... "Uhh hello Joyce... my name is Mike Wheeler I'm new to Hawkins and I'm friends with your son, Will Byers..." Mike spoke he wasn't as nervous as before since Joyce had a calm tone. "Oh that's wonderful, Will made a new friend! Hey mike? by any chance would your mother be Karen Wheeler?" "Yes mam she is... I have a question to ask you..." Mike said with a nervous tone he started to sweat a little bit... Who knew talking to a parent could be so stressful! "Go ahead..." Joyce replied  "Well I invited Will over to my house to play watch a movie with me... and he kind of fell asleep and I didn't want to wake him cause he just looked so peaceful... and I should just get on with it... but I was wondering if he could stay over for the night... my mother said she's fine with it as long as you are..." Mike cheeks turned red... he just sounded so stupid on this phone call... "Well Mike since your mothers said its fine... it is Ok with me... just take care of my boy... he tends to get bad dreams some nights." "Thank you Ms. Byers, and I will..." 

Mike walked away from the phone and went onto the basement were he saw will cuddling up to a pillow... "He looks cute... I guess I will sleep down here for the night to keep will company... after I eat dinner..." Mike starred at Will for a second... The walked closer and planted a small kiss on his forehead... Before running away just in case Will woke up 

Well this one was short lol! but I think it was cute and fun to write... besides me getting spammed in the middle of it lol
