"I don't intend to do any of such things to him." Jungkook replied. "That makes me happy." NamJoon replied. "In the mean time I can't promise you his safety either, I've never felt this betrayed in my entire life ever since the issue of my mother." Jungkook added. Jimin shut his eyes tightly listening on Jungkook. He had refused to open his eyes for fear of what Jungkook would do to him if he did.
He was sweating profusely, feeling unusually nervous and above all scared for his dear life. He chose the wrong idea to ran from Jungkook but it felt so good to be free. While he was sleeping, Jimin dreamt of the woman at the lake in one of the stories Mother Ahn read him at night. She was a woman of no courage, no family to rely on and no friends but very happily a loner by choice.
The woman who lived near the lake and got to talk briefly to the people that drew closer to the lake in quest for water, although a loner, she died with the village people appreciating her existence at the lake. Jimin had never wished to be someone so badly like he did in the case of the woman. It felt free to be free, even the air he inhaled in his system felt more freshened and realistic.
Jimin shivered, quivered and whimpered and Jungkook pulled the sheets from his body. "You haven't eaten anything since midday, come on, open your eyes already." Jungkook said softly. Jimin fearfully shook feeling Jungkook raid his body up. "You know you betrayed me right?" Jungkook questioned calmly. He opened his eyes gradually and fearfully shook his head in the negative like he was begging Jungkook to pardon him.
Jungkook carried him in his arms and led the way out to the dining room. There stood Mother Ahn waiting for them to settle. Jungkook helped Jimin take a seat across him before sitting down to face him. "Eat your food." Jungkook ordered, more calmly but very easy as well to detect the anger in his expressions. Jimin looked down avoiding Jungkook's gaze. "Living with you for the past few months really convinced me that you're not a murderer."
He smirked. "And so I let down my guard and gave you the best of me." Jungkook paused and smiled wryly at the thought. Jimin felt the tears on his laps. "I tried to understand you and logically explain to myself why I had someone like you in my bedroom and just when I was progressing in my thoughts, you give me a reason to stop overthinking." Jungkook said lowly.
"Why did you ran away?" Jungkook questioned. "I'm sorry Mr Jeon, it won't happen again.." Jimin pleaded in tears. "Yeah I know it won't happen again but I want to know why you did it in the first place?" Jungkook questioned. "Please....please.. Please forgive me Mr Jeon." Jimin cried. Jungkook shut his taking a deep breath to calm his wolves. "I told you to finish your food why are you not eating?" Jungkook questioned angrily.
Jimin shook his head in pain. "I'm sorry.." he cried. Jungkook stood up from his seat and left. Mother Ahn hurriedly checked on Jimin to make sure the boy wasn't hurt in any form. "Are you okay?" Mother Ahn asked. Jimin shook his head. "Something isn't right." Jimin cried. "No don't say things like that." Mother Ahn said worriedly until a guard approached them both. Mother Ahn looked at him trying to figure out what he wanted.
"What do you want?" Mother Ahn asked him fiercely. "Mr Jeon ordered that we bring him to the upper room." Mother Ahn's mouth dropped open in shock. "Di-Di-Did h-he really s-say that?" She stuttered. The guard nodded. "What's there?" Jimin nervously questioned. "Jimin ah~ look at me." She held Jimin to look at her. "Be positive, it doesn't take much to do so, just think of anything good." Mother Ahn said in a rush.
"What's there?" Jimin cried. "You'd have to see for yourself." The guard said pulled Jimin from Mother Ahn. He brought out the cuffs and looked Jimin's hands together. "Let's go.." The guard said and led the way to the last floor of the mansion. Jimin hasn't been anywhere near that floor. He had no idea how the place looked like, what took place there and what the breeze there felt like, yet he was having a flashback of a place with no clue of his existence.
