Summer's pov:
I hear a gasp, and Peter and I separate. Freddy stands there, in absolute shock, and a tiny bit of hurt on his face. Great. Here comes drama!

"Why the hell is he here?" Freddy demands, glaring at Peter. Peter grits his teeth, and glares straight back at him. "I dunno, maybe because I'm her boyfriend?" He grumbles sarcastically. Freddy ignores the comment, and turns to face me, hurt and anger written all over his face.

"We were meant to be working on the project this afternoon." He murmurs. I facepalm. I completely forgot about that! Our teacher paired us for the assignment, which is due in a week.

I bite my lip. I promised Peter that I will go see the new horror movie with him! "Uh, is it okay if we work on the project tomorrow. I kind of already promised Peter that I'll go with him to the movies." I state, with an awkward smile. Freddy sighs. "Fine. Whatever." He grumbles, then climbs down the tree.

Peter turns back around, and tries to kiss me. I stop him, as I am not in the mood. I tell him that we need to go to the cinema, or we'll miss some of the movie, and we walk to the cinema.

We choose to watch a horror movie. I'm kind of worried, as I get nightmares, but I didn't want to ruin it for Peter.

Half way through the movie, I get scared, and hug Peter. He hugs back. As we hug, his shirt goes up a little, and I notice something red and blue underneath, causing me to pull away. "What's that?" I ask. Peter quickly pulls his shirt back down. "Nothing." He says.

Peter's pov:
"Nothing!" I lie. Summer crosses her arms across her chest, and raises her brows at me.

"It has to be something! What is it?" She demands. I bite my upper lip, and look down, trying not to look her in the eye. Summer pushes my hands out of the way, and reaches towards my shirt. "No!" I cry, but it's too late. She lifts up my shirt, revealing the red and blue suit, with the spider logo.

Summer looks back up at me, a shocked expression on her face. "Peter? You're Spiderman?" She speaks in an ushered tone, so she doesn't draw any attention to us.

I look down. "Why didn't you tell me?" Summer questions, a hint of annoyance barely noticeable in her voice. "I wasn't ready to tell you..." My voice trails off. I don't want Summer to be mad at me. She tilts my chin, so I'm looking her in the eyes. "It's okay. And don't worry, your secret is safe with me." Summer grins. Her smile is contagious, and I soon find myself smiling uncontrollably.

Freddy's pov:
I walk down the street that Summer lives on. We arranged to meet at her house to work on our project, and I'm really excited to see her.

I arrive outside her house, and knock on the door. Summer's mum answers, and as soon as she sees that it's me, she closes the door in my face. Damn, I forgot that Summer's mum hates me. Since I can't get inside any other way, I walk around into the backyard. I drop my bag on the ground, then climb the big tree. I should be able to climb off the tree and on to Summer's balcony.

Using all my strength, I heave myself off the tree, and on to the balcony. I was definitely not mentally, emotionally or physically prepared for what I see next.

Summer is standing on the balcony, with a guy I have never seen before, and they're kissing! I gasp, and they both turn to face me.

"Why the hell is he here?" I demand, glaring at the idiot standing next to Summer. He grits his teeth, and glares straight back at me. "I dunno, maybe because I'm her boyfriend?" He grumbles sarcastically. My heart smashes into microscopic pieces after he says that. Now my chances of getting Summer back are even slimmer. I cover up the hurt, and pretend not to care. I turn to face Summer.

"We were meant to be working on the project this afternoon." I murmur, looking Summer in the eye. A look of realisation appears over Summer's face, and she facepalms.

She bites her lip, making her look even more damned attractive than before. "Uh, is it okay if we work on the project tomorrow. I kind of already promised Peter that I'll go with him to the movies." She states, with an awkward smile.

So his name is Peter.

I sigh. Because Summer just so happens to be the most attractive specimen in the world, I decide to let this one slide.

"Fine. Whatever." I grumble, pretending not to be hurt, and climb down the tree. As I grab my bag, I look back up to the balcony. Peter starts to lean in, and I quickly look away. It puts me through so much pain to see that.

I skate back home, heartbroken.

When I finally arrive back home, I unlock the door, and walk inside, and into the living room. I notice my step-sister, MJ, laying on the couch, writing in an old beat-up notebook. Is that her diary?

Since I have nothing better to do, and I enjoy being an annoying older brother, I sneak up behind her, and snatch the notebook out of her hands.

"HEY! Give that back!" MJ yells, as she runs towards me, trying get her notebook back. I avoid her, and start to read out loud.

"Dear Diary. Another day, and Peter still hasn't noticed me." I laugh. Before I can read anything else, I notice a photo pasted to the cover. It is MJ standing with a couple of friends. One thing in the photo stands out to me. "Is that Peter?" I question, pointing to the brunette boy, who was standing next to her in the photo.

MJ sighs. "Yeah, that's Peter. How did you know?" She asks suspiciously. I bite my lip, then sigh. "He is dating my ex-girlfriend." I frown.

MJ stares at me for a few seconds, with an unreadable expression, then picks up a glass of water off the coffee table. She chugs some of the water, then spits it out, all over me. "WHAT?!" She screams. I wipe the water off me, disgusted.

She starts to pace back and forth, cussing to herself quietly. I open my mouth, to try to talk to her, but she slaps me. "WHY DID YOU TELL ME THAT?! If you didn't, I could have kept living in my perfect little fantasy world, where Peter is single!" MJ snaps, then snatches the notebook out of my hands, and storms upstairs.

This day just keeps getting better and better!
