A/n: I forgot to mention that this book is set in winter. I had to mention that, otherwise this chapter won't really make sense.
Also, please don't attack me, Spiderman fans. I only wrote the chapter like this, so the story line would make sense.
⚠WARNING⚠:
This scene contains themes that might make some readers uncomfortable. There are mentions of blood, and quite a few gruesome things.MJ's pov:
"HEY! Give that back!" I yell, trying to get my notebook back. He avoids me. Did he really have to do that? It's private!"Dear Diary. Another day, and Peter still hasn't noticed me." He laughs. Freddy notices the photo pasted to the cover. "Is that Peter?" He questions, pointing to the brunette boy, who was standing next to her in the photo.
I sigh in defeat. I might as well tell him, he already knows most of it. "Yeah, that's Peter. How did you know?" I ask suspiciously. He has never met Peter, he doesn't go to my school. He bites his lip, and lets out a long sigh. "He is dating my ex-girlfriend." Freddy frowns.
I feel anger start to flow through my veins. Why would he tell me that. I continue to stare at him for a few seconds, with an unreadable expression, then pick up a glass of water off the coffee table. I chug some of the water, then spit it out, all over him. He deserves that. "WHAT?!" I scream. I watch in fury, as Freddy wipes the water off himself.
I start to pace back and forth, cussing to myself quietly. He opens his stupid mouth, but I slap him across the face. He also deserves that.
"WHY DID YOU TELL ME THAT?! If you didn't, I could have kept living in my perfect little fantasy world, where Peter is single!" I snap, then snatch the notebook out of his hands, and storm upstairs.
I slam my bedroom door shut, and flop on to the bed. I DON'T LIKE TODAY!!!
-the next day-
Summer's pov:
I walk to my locker. I still can't believe that Peter has been Spiderman this whole time, and didn't tell me!"Hey Summer." I hear a voice, making me turn to face Freddy. "Oh, hi." I smile softly. We stand in an awkward silence for a few seconds, before Freddy finally breaks it. "Could we work on the project this afternoon? You know, because we couldn't do it yesterday." He says politely. I nod. "At my house?" I ask, and Freddy nods quickly. "Ok, see you this afternoon." I smile, closing my locker, before walking away.
The bell rings, signalling the end of the day.
I grab my books and bag out of my locker, then walk towards my house.
When I arrive at my house, I walk upstairs. I open my bedroom door, to be greeted by Peter, who is already here.
"Hey Sum!" He grins. I raise an eyebrow. "Peter, you have to go." I state, and he gives a confused look. "Freddy's coming over." I explain. Peter's brows furrows, and he grits his teeth in anger. Heck, that came out wrong! "We're working on the project!" I exclaim, slightly annoyed. He knows that I love him, why is he getting jealous?
Peter makes an 'O' shape with his mouth, then nods. "So can you leave? I don't want any more drama." I mutter. Peter ignores me, and starts to lean in. I decide to let him, like, what harm can kissing once before Freddy arrives do?
-half an hour later-
Well, it turns out that it can do a LOT of harm.
-flashback-
Our lips barely brushed, before we get interrupted.
"Seriously?" Came a voice. We both turned to face Freddy, who was walking off the balcony, and into my room. Oh no. "I thought this guy wouldn't be here!" Freddy growled.
