Audrey pulled back instantly, "no Alexander. Okay I see what you're doing, you're trying to humiliate me. You probably have some of your friends around here recording this and I'm not going to go through this. Go back to your party and be your stuck up popular self. Leave." she said tears rushing down her face as she bent her legs and covered her hands with her sleeves covering her face.
"Audrey." I said quietly scooting next to her in a slight hugging position putting my arm around her,
"what do you think I want from you?" I asked.
"Honestly Alex I don't know. I don't want to know. Just leave!!" she exclaimed in sadness.
"No. I didn't do anything why are you so upset? what's going on? are you having problems at home? parents? what? listen I know you know who you think I am but," as he moved her hands placing his hand on the side of her cheek look deep into her eyes after moving in front of her
"I care. I listen. Tell me what's going on, please?" he asked.
"It's nothing, it doesn't matter." she replied looking down in embarrassment.
"It's something." I answered moving her legs out of my way and embracing her, she let in and hugged me back crying into my chest.Who knew I loved a girl so broken? I asked myself in my head. I held her for a long while, as she cried until she couldn't cry anymore. My shirt was a bit wet, her eyes were very red, swollen and she looked extremely tired, now. I grabbed my phone from my ripped jeans pocket to check the time. It read 12:35am, I texted Stacey to see how the party was going.

"what's going on?" I asked.
"nothin bro this party is awesome bro can't believe your missin' out man where'd you have to go anyways?!" he asked.
"Don't worry about it okay and shut it down I'll be home in 40 minutes I want everyone gone when I get there." I said.
"damn okay talk to me tomorrow then I wanna know what's going on. I'll just ride home with William, pick me up for school tomorrow I'll just get my car back tomorrow from you." he replied.
"thanks. 40 minutes I'm counting on you. and tomorrows Saturday Stacey." I answered clicking the top button of my iphone locking the screen placing it back in my pocket. I pulled back to look at Audrey,
"hey. so I just texted Stacey. He's getting the party shut down for me as soon as possible. everyone's leaving, I don't really want to be home alone, would you like to come with me to my house?"
"just get your mind off things a bit, get away for awhile?" I asked.
"Sure" she said in the sweetest quietest tone. I smirked a bit hugging her again,
"well I'd say we should get down from here, it's a bit cold." I said almost laughing. she smirked and nodded. I helped her onto the ladder and we both climbed down one after another. We started walking towards the baseball field towards the direction of the mutang.
"Alex no." Audrey said scared.
"Um what are you taking about?" I asked.
"We're not stealing this very extremely nice car." she said staring at the green.
"I know." I said walking over to the passenger door, "come on" I said laughing grabbing the keys from my pocket and pressing the button on the remote, "I have the keys." as my smile grew wider.
As she slightly smiled she walked hesitantly over to me sitting in the car. I closed the door jogging to the other side. I jumped into the car and started it. "ah let's gets some warmth in here" I said rubbing my hands together looking to turn on the heat. "how the hell do you work this thing." I said under my breath flipping switches, and turning nobs trying to find the heat." Audrey laughed and turned one knob and the heat came on. I was completely embarrassed. "Wow Alex you have a car and you don't even know how to work the heat on it." she said laughing very hard. Her laugh is so cute I felt my cheeks slightly changing red. "well it's Stacey's car." I answered nervous. "I guess that makes since." she answered. "So um, are we gonna go anywhere?" she asked confused as we sat in the parking lot. "Oh. right." I said blushing more as I drove off. "You know, you are kinda cute as you keep blushing trying to hide it." Audrey said to me. Now I look like a tomato.
