Before school the next day.
Hooni POV:
"Reader?" Oh... it seems I woke up early today... what time is it? HOLY SHIT? FIVE AM? Well, better go to sleep then... I panicked as Reader rose from the bed.
"Hoon?" He asked. "Wow! I didn't think you'd be able to wake up to help me with breakfast!"
"H-Huh?" I can't cook!? How am I supposed to help?
"Follow me hooni! I sort of know that you can't cook for your life, so I'm going to start easy!" Reader sounded exited even as he started yawning whilst preparing ingredients. "First, you have to boil the water!"
Reader smiled as he grabbed the pot from the shelf. He got the water and poured it in. "We need to get the water to boiling point before we add the spaghetti in, I think. I've never tried this brand before, but it should be the same as instant noodles, right?"
He rethinks the situation while reading the instructions on the box.
"HOONI!"
"H-huh?"
"QUICK! PUT THE NOODLES IN THE POT!"
"O-OH?" The lid was hot, and i didn't want to touch it, but...
sizzle
"OW!" I yelled as I immediately dropped the lid in my hand on the floor. Reader quickly put the noodles into the pot before telling me to put my hand in cold water.
"Hooni... use a towel next time..." He hesitated to tell me.
Water dripped down my hand as reader held it still in the water.
"Hooni, you have to put it under the water, it's good for the burn, I think."
"It's cold!" I exclaimed as reader rightened his grip on my hand a little.
"you have to."
I think he thought I was going to worry about my bandages getting wet, but he forced me to be under the cold water anyway.
"M-my bandages...."
"Shhhhh- shush Hoon. They don't matter as of right now." Reader whispered as I shivered from the cold.
