Inside the kitchen Sanji was cooking some food for Luffy, who was sitting quietly at the table staring out in space.
"Oi Luffy what's wrong with you? You've been acting strange ever scents we got out of that storm yesterday." asked Sanji.
Luffy broke his thought and turned to Sanji "Huh? Is it ready?" Luffy asked with a dumb straw hat smile. But Sanji could tell that Luffy was hiding something, so he stayed quite. With the food done Sanji watched Luffy eat while he cleaned up. As Sanji watched Luffy; he wasn't diving into his food like he usually dose. When Luffy was done with eating he left quietly, grabbing Luffy's plate Sanji at that moment knew that something was definitely bothering Luffy really bad. On the plate there were at least two bites of food left, along with half a loaf of bread. Eating Luffy's left over's Sanji washed the plate and stepped out to smoke.
"Maybe it's just be my imagination, but if I am right this could be bad." Sanji told himself.
Mean while Merry was shut out of Usopp's, Frankie's, and eve Choppers room. Board and lonely Merry tried looking for her Papa. Merry looked high and low for her father, but then she came into the library and saw her Papa sitting down 'trying' to read a book.
"Papa?" Merry cried out.
"Ah Merry! What's wrong?"
Luffy sat his book down and walked over to Merry and gave her a big grin. Merry knew that even though her Papa was smiling she could tell that Papa was sad about something.
"What wrong Papa are you sick?" Merry placed her hand on Luffy's forehead to see if Luffy was sick. Luffy didn't know if he was sick or not, he tried looking in both Chopper's and Robin's book to see what was wrong with him. Not wanting to worry her he took Merry's hand and walked out of the Library.
"Nah, I'm not sick. Hey, what kind of game should we play next? How about hide and seek?" Luffy still had that goofy grin on his face but Merry could still tell that he was worried about something. Out on deck Sanji poured Nami and Robin some tea while they talked about 'girly' things. Things all quiet and peaceful when Luffy came storming out while being chased by Merry. Merry jumped up tackling Luffy to the ground. Luffy was back to normal, well his normal at least. Robin smiled a soft smile while watching Luffy and Merry. Nami saw how happy Robin look while watching them both, but the look in Nami's eyes looked hazy.
"Luffy! How dare you disturb Robin-chan and Nami-swan's moment of silent!?" Sanji yelled.
Luffy looked up at Sanji and saw Robin's smile and his face grew light red one one of his cheeks. Both Luffy and Robin turned their gaze away from one another. The awkward silent's was too much so Luffy tried to speak but Robin got up and walked to her room, Luffy put Merry down and ran after Robin. Sanji at that moment knew what was going on; he turned to Nami who was smiling while try to holding back deep rooted tears.
Sanji grabbed Nami in his arm, she tried her best to hide her tears. But something that both Sanji and Nam I both knew was that Nam I was also in love with Luffy. But she knew that Luffy didn't see her that way. Sanji understood Naomi's feelings, and loved her just as much. However, at WholeCake Island, Sanji knew that he would have to work twice as hard to get Nami to love him back.
Meanwhile, Robin got to her bedroom door when Luffy called out "Robin."
Robin turned to Luffy, and looked into his eyes and they were just like they were at Enies Lobby.
"T-There's something I want to ask you something Robin?" Luffy ask in a raspy voice
Robin couldn't help but hold her breath, 'what does Luffy want to talk about? It's not like him to be so serious.'
"Robin I-I... I want you to teach me how to read!" Luffy asked with a big huff.
'Huh?' Robin thought.
