Author POV
Meg was sitting down at her seat with Miruko sleeping soundly on her lap. Rio sat next to her and gently rubs behind his ears. Since the three of them were early and class hadn't started yet, so they had plenty of time to spend with their baby before everyone else arrived. Miruko curled up into a little ball, and started sucking his thumb and drooling slightly with an adorable little smile on his face. Rio got a nosebleed from it. Meg smiled and gently holds him close to her. Miruko snuggles up with her, resting on her tummy while purring.
Meg: *giggles* "So cute."
Rio: "I know I just feel so bad that he had to suffer through so much. The poor wittle baby."
Suddenly, a certain yellow octopus looking man appears in the class.
Koro Sensei: "Hello two of my students!"
Rio: "Oh! Hi Koro sensei!"
Miruko curls up more on her lap and starts nomming on his tail, drooling slightly. Koro Sensei a strange yellow octopus like being. His body was made of a material that was almost invincible, and could only be damaged by specially designed ammunition used by his students during training. One may not think it, but he really did care about all of his students, and would gladly put himself into any dangerous situation to make sure that they were safe. Recently the government found out about something. Koro Sensei was once human. Although, he was experimented on. Hence the reason that he had his appearance and abilities. He may have been a kind and caring teacher, but he also had rather strange tendencies sometimes. Mainly that he tries to get some of his students to hook up with each other and get them into relationships. He was also secretly a little bit of a pervert, but he never shows that side of him around his students. Or at least he tried extremely hard not to.
The government decided that Koro Sensei wasn't a real threat. He put the moon back together after all. But they still wanted him to train his students to become the best future assassins possible. Of course, he happily obliged to continue teaching them the art of assassination. However, nobody accounted for the fact that he would have a literal infant in his class.
Koro Sensei: "Who is the cat boy?"
Rio: "That's our new son Miruko. At first I thought he was a kitten, then he turned himself into a baby."
Meg: "We found him outside the school all alone, starving and hurt, so we couldn't just leave him out there."
Koro Sensei: "Interesting."
Miruko's ears twitch slightly, hearing their conversation. He stretches his body like cats would do when they wake up from a nap, and yawns cutely. He rubs his eyes and snuggles into his mama's loving embrace, feeling her warmth against his body.
Koro Sensei: "Hello there."
Miruko looks at Koro Sensei and tilts his head slightly in confusion. He thought that this yellow octopus looking man looked strange, but didn't see him as a threat. Of course it was at that moment that his curious kitten instincts kicked in.
Miruko: 'Are you a lemon?'
He saw one of his tentacles near him, and his pupils got really huge. He pounces on it and starts gently pawing at it, and playing with it like a cat would. Rio and Meg both saw it as cute. Koro Sensei was very interested in the small cat boy that was playing with one of his tentacles.
Miruko: "Nom Nom nom nom nom nom nom."
Koro Sensei: *soft smile*
Meg: "Honey come here."
Miruko crawls over to Meg, looking nervous that he accidentally did something wrong and that she was going to punish him for it. He looked up at her and crawls into her lap with a somewhat scared look on his face. Meg puts her hands on her face.
Meg: "Where's mama?"
Miruko doesn't know where she is, looking around to see where his mama was.
Meg: *giggles "Here I am!"
Miruko: *baby smile*
Miruko giggles and hugs her tight. Meg smiles warmly at him and holds him close, gently rubbing his back. She knew that she'd accidentally scared him before, and felt bad for that. She gently rubs behind his ears and kisses his cheek.
Meg: "I'm sorry for scaring you sweetie."
Miruko: *rubs cheek against her*
Rio thought about how he reacted when Meg told him to come to her just then. How he looked scared and nervous. She thought about everything that she knew about Miruko so far. His scars all over his body, his hesitance to trust new people that he doesn't know. the fact that he had a collar with his name on it, and the fact that he was left all alone to fend for himself. It slowly started to make sense to her, and it shattered her heart. Someone had him as a pet. A fucking person as a pet?!?!! And if that wasn't bad enough, they just abused him! He was treated like he wasn't even human, like he was lower than dirt, and he ran away from his previous "owners" because of what they'd done. Rio had tears forming in her eyes as the realization dawned on her. Koro Sensei could tell that something was up with Rio.
Koro Sensei: "You okay Rio?"
Rio: "Y-Yeah....I think just need some air."
She walks out of the classroom. Miruko saw that his mommy was not ok. He could sense her sadness and anger, and wanted to make sure that she was ok. Out of pure instinct, he followed her outside and was shocked to see her sitting down, holding her knees to her chest and crying into her arms. He crawled over to her and crawled into her lap, rubbing his body against her and trying to make his mommy feel better.
Miruko: "Don't be sad mommy."
Miruko hugged his mommy tight, snuggling into her and nuzzling into her neck. He affectionately licks her cheek a few times as she hugs him and continues crying hard. She couldn't believe that he was treated in such a way, and her heart couldn't handle it.
Rio: "M-My poor baby."
Miruko puts his hands on her cheeks and puts his forehead against hers, purring softly and wrapping his tail around her arm. Rio hugs him tight and continues to cry. Miruko sat there with her, refusing to leave her side until he was sure that she felt better. Rio felt horrible. But she felt angry as well. How dare they treat a baby like that?!?! Rio felt vengeful, hate filled, and angry. But also sad, and filled with grief. All she could do at that moment was hold her baby in her arms and cry. It's all that she could think to do.
Miruko: *rubs cheek against her*
Miroku was so loyal to her and Meg for taking him in and taking care of him. He would do anything for them. He wanted them to both be happy, and for them to know how much he loved them. The two of them stayed outside for what seemed like hours, sitting in the same spot holding each other in a loving embrace.
Miruko: "Wove you mommy."
Rio didn't respond, as she had cried herself to sleep with her baby still in her arms, not leaving her side for even a second. Miruko knew that she'd fallen asleep and got out of her arms. He brought out a blanket and pillow for her, making sure that his mommy was comfortable before crawling into her lap and hugging her tight. He felt a little hungry, but he didn't care. All he wanted was for his mommy to be happy. Rio held her baby like a teddy bear.
Rio: *sleep talking* "My wittle kitten."
Miruko: *purring* "My mommy."
Rio: *pecks his cheek*
Miruko giggles and hugs her, before going into his kitten form and giving her another little lick on her cheek before resting her head on her chest and slowly falling asleep in his mommy's loving arms.
