"What the fuck" Aaliyah said to herself abruptly waking up from her nightmare sweating and breathing hard. Confused as to why she was even still stuck on that now having been 10 years since the incident.

"You ok? You need something?" Siah said out of it slowly waking up after hearing Liayh wake up roughly from her nightmare.

"Can we talk, I really feel like I need to get this off of my chest" She says scared of what he's gonna think after hearing about her past. "Please don't say anything until I'm done" she adds on quietly.

"When I was born my parents left me outside of an adoption center, and from then on I was mistreated and used as a personal slave because Iwas the only black girl."

"While the other girl were adopted and got to live out their happy lives I stayed 7 years seeing new babies being dropped off and the girls my age leaving, while the was a never changing staff leaving all of the workers to continue to abuse me with nobody telling them different. They wouldn't have listened anyway" She says with a slight shrug remembering how cruel they were, continuing on.

"When I was 10 a family decided to foster me, it gave me hope it made me think I was lovable and would eventually be adopted. They're son Bob welcomed me when I first came but it was all a facade, but I ignored it because I just wanted to be accepted. It sounds dumb now"

Tears start streaming down her face making Siah hold her wanting her to continue and let it all out.

"I soon found out they were only keeping me for the state checks, they started hitting on me constantly, starving and locking me in my room. But this day I had decided to fight back, Lester (foster dad) didn't like that he had Bob hold me down while he tied restraints around my arms and legs."

"I had given up I screamed so much and nobody heard me, I felt hopeless he raped me continuously for a month after that. But luxkily one night he had released my restraints, when I broke free I took all of the money in their vault that they thought they had kept secret I was able to get 10 million and escape."

"From there I moved across the country and set up back account in fake names so that the money wouldn't be tracked back to me. That's why I never have to work or anything the moneys lasted me awhile with me only supporting myself and making no unnecessary purchases." I finished  dryly then remembering something.

"Remember yesterday when you asked me if I was ok, I wasn't because I got scared you'd leave me if I wasn't ready to be intimate."

"I wouldn't Liyah this might be to early to say but I love you and you didn't deserve any of what happened to you." He says genuinely looking her in her eyes.

"Ah purrrrr he said he loves me y'all" She says looking off speaking to the imaginary audience.

"I love you too" She says finally feeling like she belonged with her favorite person.

"Baby I just realized, why don't you have any friends" She asks genuinely confused because he seemed pretty normal in her eyes.

"Imma tell you something and it's a very sensitive subject" he says looking down slightly embarrassed about what he was about to say.

"My home life was really fucked up my mom died when I was fifteen due to cancer and I for separation anxiety with her constant being at the hospital and not being able to see her, and then when she passed that really just broke everyone."

"I found out my dad had been having a five year affair while my mom had been going through chemo and had gotten the other woman pregnant with Journi"

"Damnnnnnnnn" She said shocked sounding like that meme making me crack a smile at her trying to lighten the mood.

"But after that he started never coming home leaving Journi with me and she just became my light" Messiah says shrugging nonchalantly trying not to show how much it affected him bringing up the memories.

"But Journi she was still so young and I wanted atleast one friend who I could depend on and be able to be normal with so one day I started hanging out with Xavier. I trusted him watching Journi, til one day when I came home I saw him touching her while she continued to scream stop."

"I don't even fully know what happened to him I had blacked out. I felt so dumb not noticing how uncomfortable she would look when he'd enter a room or small bruises she'd say she got from falling. I never wanted anyone else around us after that until you."

"Siah you can't blame yourself you couldn't have noticed every little detail you were still grieving over your mother, you wanted to the see the best in your one friend." She says trying to reassure him.

Them laying down together after a day full of trauma dumping, Siah falling asleep first.

'Be normal with' Aaliyah kept repeating in her head wanting to know what he meant but understanding it wasn't the right moment to bring up.
