"Are you going to let go?"
Venti stared up at the hero's face only to see a dick instead. He let go and sat up, covering himself with the coat he'd been given and hiding his face behind it. "I'm sorry..."
The hero promptly put his dick away and sighed.
"Did you get cold because of me?" Venti scooted closer and sat on his lap. "Should I warm it up?" he asked, placing his hand on the hero's crotch.
"I think you've touched enough." The hero grabbed Venti's hand and removed it. "I need to-"
Venti kissed him, grabbing his face and shoving his mouth into his. "If you're going to say you need to leave you can keep that to yourself," Venti pulled away long enough to say that before slamming his lips back into the hero's.
"N-no...I-" the hero tried to get away but Venti refused. The hero grabbed his hair and pulled his head back by force. "Damnit all, will you listen to me?" he snarled.
"Too tight..." Venti winced. He loosened his grip, feeling guilty, but Venti smirked and broke free. The hero gave up and allowed the dance of tongues to continue.
"Kiss my body," Venti gently shoved the hero's head in the direction of his chest. He felt his tongue along his skin, sliding under his garments. He bit down on Venti's nipple. "Mmmm..." Venti approved, flapping his wings slightly.
"Venti-"
"Shit!" Venti jumped up and grabbed his shorts, running out of the cave. "I forgot all about my promise to Kaeya! Fuck!" He flew away without an explanation, leaving the hero to stare at the exit of the cave. He stood up and grabbed his coat, leaving himself.
"How the fuck am I supposed to tell him if he keeps interrupting me?!"
...
"You showed up late and you didn't even sing the right song," Kaeya sighed, shaking his head. He opened up the door to Angel's Share. "You owe me a drink."
"I owe you a couple," Venti laughed. "Eh?" He stared behind the bar. "Where is Diluc?"
"Oh, mm," Kaeya politely smiled, "you won't find him here today."
"Why?"
"Because..." Kaeya stared off into space. "It's today, you know?"
"What's tod-" Venti ran out the door as fast as his feet could carry him outside of Mondstadt. He ran down the bridge and took the sharp turn headed right for Dawn Winery.
"Shit. Shit. Shitshitshitshit! And after I got pissed off at him too!" Venti pulled out his wings and sped up the pace. In no time at all he crashed through the door of the manor.
"Diluc!" Once again there were no servants in sight. The place too eerily quiet. He slammed open each door, screaming for Diluc, until he finally found him.
"Venti?" Diluc turned, holding his bleeding arm. The wound had gotten worse since the last time Venti had seen him. "What are you doing here? Aren't you still angry with me?"
"Did you not listen to me at all?!" Venti stormed over and swatted Diluc's hand away from his arm. He looked at it and snatched the first aid kit, searching through it for the things he needed.
"This..." Diluc wasn't sure how to tell him this was because of their time in the cave. He didn't reopen his wound by going out to fight anything.
"I'm sorry," Venti dropped to his knees, letting all of the first aid supplies fall with him. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry."
"Venti?" Diluc squatted down to sit on the floor beside him.
"I can't pay you back. I can't support you enough so you don't go off on your own. I can't even remember important dates like today!" he sniffled, wiping his eyes. "What am I good for then? I'm sorry. This isn't like me... I don't know why I'm acting like this..."
Diluc remained quiet.
"You shouldn't have to be sad alone," Venti sniffled again. "You shouldn't have to run off on some revenge scheme alone either. Diluc!" Venti sobbed. "Diluc..." He grabbed his arms then remembered Diluc's arm was injured and let go. His hands still hovered over Diluc's arms, not sure what to do.
Diluc pulled Venti close and kissed him. "I'm not alone, you're here. It's not entirely revenge. I'm not a knight anymore but I'm trying to protect Mondstadt in my own way. You don't need to remember dates like this. If anything, remember the day we first kissed instead. Venti, if you're not going to pay me back then pay me back in other ways," Diluc pinned Venti to the ground and smiled, which soon turned into a grimace. "Damnit!" He winced as his arm gave out. He plopped down beside Venti, gritting his teeth from the pain. "So much for pushing you up against a wall and saving you from evil." Diluc clutched his bleeding arm. "I can't even hold a quill."
"We...we uhm..." Venti blushed. "We need to get you to Barbara or Jean...I'm sorry I can't heal you..."
"I don't need you to heal me, just stitch me up."
"Right," Venti fumbled around trying to pick up the first aid kit pieces he'd dropped. He noticed the mask shoved under the bed. "Diluc?" he picked it up, staring at it. "Is this...the Darknight Hero's mask?"
