"Mom, do you think this glasses looks good on me?" I said as I turned around to look at mom. "Yes, honey. Do you want that one?" She replied. I nodded happily.

I am now in my second year of high school. Since my eyesight was getting worst, I went and got glasses to help me with my studies.

'Gosh I look like those typical nerds in highschool but whatever.' I said to myself and went home.

Tomorrow is the start of classes. Since I got a pretty good grades in my first year, I was transferred into the section A. I am pretty nervous since that is where the smart kids are and I am just an average student. Also, because of this, me and Mary got separated and now, I have no one to talk to again.

Well, I'll just sleep it out because that is gonna be the future me problem.

"Oh crap, I'm late." I said after I stood up quickly from my bed. I immediately prepared myself as fast as I could. Good thing the school is just a few blocks away from my house so I wouldn't be too late.

"Mom! I'm off now!" I screamed while putting on my shoes. "Okay, honey. Be careful!" She replied to me.

I ran as fast as I could and I can see few students at the gate which means I wasn't the only one late (in the whole school). I hurried up to my assigned classroom and to my shock, I was the only one late in there. Everyone was already seated but there still wasn't a teacher so I looked around for an empty seat.

The only seat available is the one by the window. I sat and wiped my sweat.

'Ooh I hope I don't smell like sweat. This is so embarrassing. At the very first day too.' I lowered my embarrassed face at the thought of that.

Someone tapped me by my shoulder.

"Hey, Eva. Did you get glasses because you got an *honor last year?" someone jokingly said to me.

I looked up to see who was talking.

"Huh?" I replied looking very confused but before I got an answer, her attention got grabbed by another person beside her.

'Uh... Do I know her???' I thought to myself. No matter how much I dig into my memories, I still don't remember her.
