Well! I made it to Midway Lane... I didn't have a map, so it took me a bit... may I also remind you I HAVE NO FEET! So how the heck do people NOT stare at me...

I mean with a little face powder, a dress, and sticks, I could kind of blend in to the bustling crowds of this place, I guess. But with the faint red glow that trails behind me with every movement, that could be a little...

Tricky.

Later, I found number 22 and there it is, the police station. I think so... I don't know because the words were in Japanese, but I think it's the police stat- oh, there's Reggie.

Now I know for sure this is the police station.

Day 14

I have a map! Now I have a sense of where the heck I am. Also, work was good! I made 200 Yen (Which I found out is money in Japan) every hour!

And I worked for 8 hours sooooo I made... 1,600 Yen! Cool... now, all I need to do is 1 more day of work and then I can get a small phone. I went to the store and saw one that piqued my interest for 1,500 Yen so, I went ahead and bought it and then thought, "I can use the last of my 100 Yen for a head set."

I bought a pair of teal and pink ones because they looked cute, they were only 8 Yen, and I liked the colour. Oh, food! I forgot. Hmm. What can I buy for 92 Yen... Twizzlers! Mmm!

I bought twelve bags of those big Twizzlers that you pull apart like cheese strings. Yum. As soon as I got home I ripped open a bag of Twizzlers and chomped down on one.

Day 15

Mmm, these Twizzlers are so good... oh, the door. It's doing that thing again, where the door handle is turning by itself... who'll be out there this time?

A gorgeous Japanese woman (her life seems to be glamorous) with tons of bangle bracelets and a sequin dress. Wow. Um... she seems to be looking for a guy... or even a girl... a PERSON... named Vance.

No, I misheard... Lance? I've never heard of any Lan-wait... the train driver. When the police came... they said to some people near me... "...Reports of a man named Lance driving this train?"

Oh. Oh god. The train driver! The man who sacrificed himself to save everyone on the train- now this woman... is looking for him... aww, poor woman, she was probably really close to this guy... But then I lied and said, "I... know nothing. Maybe ask someone else?"

As soon as the woman closed the door, I fell to the floor. Flashbacks flooded my head. I tried to make sense of what was going on... then the same feeling overcame me from when I died... Oh. Okay. It's gone. What came over me? Hmmm, well... I gotta go to work now...

Later...

Since I have 3,200 Yen I can actually buy a meal! I walked to this Ramen shop that's not too far away from my house. It's called Rakki which means lucky in Japanese. I ordered the tonkatsu, which was 300 Yen (In American money that's 30 dollars).

Its rich broth and creamy noodles were EXACTLY what I needed!

Yum.

"Thanks!" I say as I walk out.

Day 16

I went and did more digging around in this old place. I found a thermos, so I saved my leftover tonkatsu in it. I also found a modern computer set up with a backlit keyboard. Maybe this place isn't so old after all!

I was able to find a bunch of online games and websites, the kind I would browse on when I was on breaks at my last job. My last job was fine... I guess... Maybe, well...

To be honest, the job was fine but, my boss, oh, my boss was the worst! He was the sole reason I spent so much time on those websites in the first place. Sometimes, I wonder if I should even recall those memories. As I asked myself that, a voice inside of me shouted:

IN FACT! HE WAS THE REASON you DIED! He told you to go on that silly train in the first place!

I feel like I am going crazy, but if there is one thing I can control, I can control my thoughts. And so, wanting to stop those painful memories, I decide to search around some more and found nothing more than cockroaches and ants.

This is going to be a challenging couple of weeks.

Day 17

The next day, I got some unwanted company. And for all I know, they are not leaving! There is a dark, tall black figure dressed in stained white clothes. Also...

Last night she... er- or should I say, "It" sang me lullabies whilst I was trying to go to sleep.

The amount of comfort it brought truly surprised me. I guess I have not seen my friends in a long time and that was the closest I have felt to being with a true friend. I guess she might be a friend, however, she could also be an enemy. Finishing that thought, I realised I know nothing about this place and the people who live within it.

Suddenly, my eyes start scanning wildly from side to side, much like a terrified animal when scared for it's life. I feel a sharp chill bolting down my spine. My heart is racing and so is my mind.

Why do I feel this way? Maybe it's "It"...
