"Yeah That one was good" Kai shows his thumb up at Jennie who removed her head piece and bows lightly to thank him.

"Alright, should we add this as background vocals too?" The vocalist couch utters looking at Jennie who nods his head.

"It came out better that I thought" Jennie smiles looking at Kai who chuckles before shaking his head.

"Come on, you actually have such a good voice. You got all the vocals perfectly in your first try" Kai utters smiling. He wears his jacket after seeing Jennie getting ready to leave the studio.

Jennie chuckles softly at the compliment thanking him. 

They both came to record the song in which she was featuring with Taehyung. And since Tarhyung was dropping off Jeongguk to the airport, Kai had to come along Jennie as Taehyung's manager.

"Wanna go and grab some coffee?" Kai suggests and Jennie nods. She had an hour before her practice so it seemed like a good option.

They both make their way out of the studio towards the nearest coffee shop which was a few blocks away from the company building. The moment door was opened, a cold breeze hit directly on her exposed body, which her slightly hiss, goosebumps appearing on her body.

"Shit I forgot my jacket. Wait here I will be right ba--"

"Here"

Kai removes his jacket and throws over Jennie who was shocked for a moment, before a teasing smirk appears on her plump lips as he starts teasing the man who couldn't help but be shocked at his own action.

"Aww, such a gentleman you are" She chuckles and teasingly slaps his shoulder who shakes his head, but Jennie could see the rosy color dusting the dominant man's cheeks as he clears his throats and again open the door for Jennie, who again couldn't hold back her smirk.

"Where did the sun risen up today from? I feel like some demon possessed you" Jennie laughs and closes the two front button of the jacket, making her petit figure look smaller that usual due to the oversized jacket.

"Nothing happened and sto teasing me" Kai grumbled under his breath and takes huge steps, now walking ahead of Jennie.

The singer couldn't help but laugh at the cute situation of the boy who was taking great strips ahead of him.

Ever since in America they both had a very good bond---a goofy friendly one.  Even though Kai was Taehyung's manager, still he used to spend more time with Jennie. Never did they once felt like they should have that work-employee feeling---it was as if they just clicked like a puzzle, and till now that friendship was stronger than ever.

"Ya wait for me you brat! " She runs when he realizes Kai was going to cross the street without her. So she tries to cross him and walks ahead without looking around of any car was coming.

"JEN!" Kai reaches his forward grabbing Jennie by her wrist, when he saw a black car coming at full speed towards them. Jennie felt a jerk and was pulled right back at Kai's chest. Her eyes widen when she realises what was actaully going to happen if Kai didn't pull him away from the street on time.

"Fuck! Are you okay Jen?!" Kai utters worriedly lightly shaking Jennie from her shoulder who was still shocked at the happenings.

"Y-yeah, thank you---thank you so much" She utters and takes a deep breath to calm her raging heart beat.

"Nothing happened, it's okay"

"Let's go. We are here" Kai smiles and grabs Jennie's hand out of habit when he felt Jennie still shaking and pulls him towards the cafe--their destination for today.
