—What the ?! Suddenly a whistle was heard approaching the window. The glass shattered and the bolt of the crossbow stuck straight into Honey's forehead, a trickle of blood flowed from the wound. A couple of seconds later, she fell dead, bleeding. Bluey was seized with chills and panic. Suddenly, the whistle was heard again and another glass broke, this time the bolt stuck into the picture. Some in a panic began to shout:

— Get away from the window!-Rusty commanded. Everyone obeyed and left the windows. Bluey took Bingo and they hid under the table. Rusty leaned against the wall with the other boys, while Judo and Indy hid behind the table.

— What is it?!- Yelled Judo

 —I do not know!

—We need to call the police! Where's the phone?-Mackenzie's voice was trembling.

— On the second floor.-Chloe pointed her finger up.

— And how do we get there?-Bluey whispered when the music stopped.

 — Let me think-Rusty rubbed the bridge of his nose, although he did not wear glasses.

— What if we make improvised shields out of chairs.-Lucky suggested.

 — That is a bad idea.-Jack said.

 — Do you have a better one?-Everyone looked at Jack.

— Chloe, take a chair and lean against it so that the back is turned to the window. Then run to the corridor where there should be no windows.

 — And if it doesn't work?- No one wanted to imagine what could happen if it didn't work. Everyone saw it, so the answer to her question was silence: — Okay. Chloe took a deep breath, took a chair and did everything as Lucky said. She got ready and ran to the corridor.*Shot* The arrow flew past and broke the vase. She got to a safe place and put a chair by the front door.

 — Who's next?- The Dalmatian looked at her friends.

 — Let me do it.-Kenzie volunteered Judo pushed him a chair, he took it, leaned against it and abruptly ran. His legs began to give way and all he was thinking about at that moment was how not to fall to the floor.* Shot *.The arrow stuck straight into the back of the chair, but still the Collie managed to reach Chloe.

 — Dang it! It was close.-Mackenzie breathed a sigh of relief.

— Go ahead and get the phones. We're right behind you.-Rusty said

 — And if there will be these psychos?!-Chloe was looking around.

— Let's take a weapon -Kenzie tried to calm her down.

— Okay. But if we die, I'll kill you.- She said and looked into his eyes. Chloe and Kenzie carefully walked down the hallway to the kitchen, avoiding windows and looking around corners. The Border Collie came up to the table and began rummaging for a suitable thing. There was an old cabinet near the stove, opening it, he took out a kitchen knife and a meat cleaver from there:

 — What do you take, my lady.-He got on his knees and in his hands he had tools.

 — Hmm. . .I'll take this thing.-She grabbed the cleaver.

— An excellent choice.-He chuckled. A door creaked at the top. They turned around, Chloe tensing up.

 — Let's go?-Dalmatian asked. The Collie nodded his head. They walked down the corridor leading to the stairs. Mackenzie stepped naked on the step and it creaked treacherously under him. They climbed to the second floor. The lights were off. Chloe pressed the switch, nothing happened.

 — Burned out.-Chloe was annoyed.

—And where exactly are they?-Collie asked

— In the living room.Or . . . Uh.-Chloe tried to collect her thoughts.
