Someones nobody

I would be lying if I said I knew what I was feeling in this moment, he was speaking to me after almost a whole month.

I didn't take his hand to get up , I brushed off the pain from the fall and picked up my books.

" yeah long time, see ya around" I said replying to his comment earlier. I turned around going to my next class. He followed behind me trying to catch up.

" so what class do u have next? Maybe I can walk you?" He said
" I'm fine honestly, you can leave now"
" I actually really wanted to talk to you, can I have At least five minutes please?"
" fine you have five minutes. Start talking"

" well after you texted me I was really questioning why you thought I was making out with some other girl, but then I realized that Matteo was there and he saw me talking to some girl that had kissed me all of a sudden." He explained

My mouth slightly opened to say something but I couldn't speak up. So Matteo wasn't lying but eros just didn't justify himself.

" I just wanted to let you know that, I still think your great Valeria. Also happy birthday" eros said handing me a little box with a bow on it.

He walked away, he had taken exactly 5 minutes. I opened the present and slightly smiled at what was inside. He had gotten me a charm bracelet with a music note and seashells on it, they looked like the ones from the beach.

In this moment I felt like nobody, but someone wanted this nobody, and it wasn't looking like a problem to me.

Eros never confirmed his feelings, and that was alright. I would have to get him to admit his feelings somehow. For now I would have to finish the school day.

Lunch came around and when I tell you I felt so out of place, it wasn't a understatement. I grabbed a sandwich and a water from the lunch line and looked around to see where I could sit, smoking today wasn't an option since they added security outside for some reason. But after bumping into eros in the hallway, overthinking was really coming in.

" VALE HERE!!" I hear luci yell my name
I looked over to where she was sitting, of course it was the table where all the boys were.

The holy trinity of high-school, matteo, eros, and Austin... I didn't have a problem with Austin but now having a different situation to deal with, I didn't know what to do with eros.

I walked over sitting next to luci, thankfully there was no one next to me to fill in the other seat.
" hey hey, what's going on?" I asked luci as she sat on the table
" nothing much, I was just reminding the boys how it was your birthday!!" She said giggling

Oh fuck... of course she reminded them

I looked around facing matteo and he had this sorry look on their face. It's not like I expected something from him but he didn't have to feel bad either.

" it's alright guys, I don't really like my birthday anyways. Makes me feel older" I said offering them a small smile.

" sorry vale, I didn't know...But happy birthday anyways!" Matteo said
" thanks matt"

I looked over to eros, he was typing something in his phone. Before he got up and left the cafeteria without saying or looking at anyone. After a couple seconds my phone went off...assuming it was my mom I check my phone, but instead it was a text from eros?

- meet me in the gym janitorial closet in 5

I hesitated before telling lucia I was going to head to my next class, me being the nerd between us she completely understood. I guess my schedule was helping me after all.

I grabbed all my stuff heading into the gym, the janitors closet was always locked so why did eros suddenly have access to it? Anyways I walked into complete darkness. The light suddenly turned on, showing eros standing in the corner with a smirk on his face.

" idiot, what is it?" I said
" well I don't know actually, I just want to be alone with you. Maybe talk somethings out."

" like what? The fact that you kissed someone after you asked me to be your girlfriend?"
" I- I didn't mean to, she came onto me! But that doesn't even matter anymore. I wanted to admit some things, before my brother or anyone gets in the way again." He said stepping forward

" eros, we're just too-"
" no let me speak first... and you can say anything you want after"

Did this boy just put my sentence on pause!?

" I have been completely obsessed with you since end of junior year, we spent all summer going back and forth... I just wish I knew you wanted me. Because I want you, Valeria I want you."

He wants me...

I couldn't think in the moment, he was perfect from his hair to his greenish eyes to the way he said my name, I promised myself to swear off men. But maybe just maybe this thing with eros wouldn't be so bad?

Within a second I kissed him. And not a rushed kiss, it was slow and painfully craved. I've wanted him since we first kissed on my bed, since he spoke to me that day on the bench. And I was finally ready to give him a chance.

Eros pulled away from the kiss, looking at me with a goofy smile on his face. This boy had no idea how his smile made me feel...
" so does that mean you want to be my girlfriend now?" He said
" after that whole speech it seems like you want to be my boyfriend more baby." I replied with humor in my tone.

" fair enough, I guess I am now yours Valeria"
" yes yes you are."
" I want you to come to my house today after school, it's always empty. We can talk more there"

" okay , call me when to come over. I got to head to class now though"

He opened the closet door letting me head out while he went out the other side of the gym, since he was a senior he got to leave early. Especially since he played a sport.

My phone rang once I got into class a couple minutes later... I thought it was eros but turns out my stalker was still lurking...
