It proved to be a quiet day at Robbins's Goodie Bakery. Since there were no customers currently in the dining room, Ivy helped Mrs. Robbins with the pies. Mrs. Mason worked on the dough, while Ivy put in the fillings and put the pies in the oven. They also do pies every so often.
"Don't you think it's strangely quiet, Mrs. Robbins?" Ivy pondered, making the woman look over at her. "I know it's not the busiest place on earth, but we usually have a customer or two? Where is everyone?"
"I'm not sure, dear" Mrs Mason shrugged. "But I tell you, on my way here, I saw that the candy store was awfully busy today. Busier than usual."
Ivy giggled and shook her head. "So, people would rather fill on candy bars rather than your all goodie biscuits for pies for that matter?"
The bell above the door rang and Ivy thought it was finally a costumer as she went to the front desk. "Hello, welcome to Robbin's-" Ivy stopped when she saw...
"Mr. Robbins. What are you doing here?" Janet's husband, Fred Robbins was in the store which was very odd to Ivy. The only times he would come in is when something serious happens. Uh no.
"Well, I'm actually here to my wife, is she in the back?" Mr. Robbins asked and Ivy's nods to him.
The door swung open very fast and it was Charlie who ran in and looked at his sister with a wide smile. "What's got you all excited, Charlie?" Ivy asked smiling at him.
