Shiva , sleeping peacefully on his post duty day off , since last night emergency cases like degloving injury of hand and an emergency impending appendicular rupture showed up which took a toll on him last night .

Shakthi , checked her long kurta whether its perfectly ironed and wore her white coat as it was her first day of final year . The excitement of passing past three years without any backlogs and finally entering final year with pride was reflecting on her face .

" Shakthi , we have got white coat ceremony at 2 pm in the main lecture hall " her roomate cum friend Pooja told .

" Huh ?? Adu ena afternoon ? " she questioned taking her stethescope for her clinicals .

" Post duty doctors should also turn up right ? adaan " Pooja commented .

" Seri I am skipping breakfast , I will have it in canteen " saying so Shakthi took her books and bag .

" Drop me at hospital too , I cant walk from here reyyy " Pooja whined and Shakthi nodded .

Shiva was disturbed by continuous calls and without any choice at 12 .30 pm , he swiped right to attend the call .

" Shiva , This is Yadav , HOD asked me to remind you about the white coat ceremony for final year , you must be present , you have been assigned for vote of thanks from our department " Yadav told in his formal way .

Being Yadav a senior surgeon ,

" Ok Sir , I have started , I will be there in 30 mins " Shiva said .

He turned and looked at the mirror ,

Ruffling his hair for one last time , he rushed to washroom to get ready .

During lunch ,

" Shakthi " Sherin called .

" Umm yeah , sollu sollu " she asked stuffing papad inside her mouth .

" Whats your first posting ? " she asked .

( Final years will be posted for a period of 2 months in each department to train themselves for the final exams )

" I got Obs and Gynec first , yuckk yeww " Shakthi made faces .

" But I am in Madhu mam's unit , I heard she is  a very friendly teacher , so problem ile " Shakthi said .

" For me , its Surgery " Pooja said to which Shakthi made a pity face .

" Hello hello ! hold on ! I am in Shiva Sir's unit , He is the best , literally "

" Surgery naale perusu daan , Best aam , what is he a good teacher ? " Shakthi asked funnily .

" Ofcourse , senior told that during duty days he is very very friendly , and on top of that , he is an amazing teacher too " Sherin explained .

Shakthi shrugged and showed face , went to face her hands .

Rushing to the main lecture hall , Shakthi connected airpods and Pooja inevitably pulled one of the airpods to hear music .

Shakthi's playlist is the best amongst all .

" thirunda maata " Shakthi muttered .

They reached the lecture hall , and were the first ones to reach the venue .

On purpose they came early to choose the last but one row to enjoy staying on the phone .

Shakthi changed and played tum tak .
