Again, as it falls out of my head ... Peeps that were there that read this, forgive me for anything forgotten, missed or misconstrued. Again, my opinion, point of view, through my eyes.
Day 2, Saturday 9th July
Again, a late(ish) morning, and a lazy one spent in the hotel lobby. Coffee was fetched from the little cafe' area downstairs, and we all just chilled, recollecting the previous evening, the newbies still in disbelief, I think. A lot of smiling going on. It was so nice to have someone to relive it all with again, and this group of ladies have now become firm friends. We even have a Hotel Bridget LT withdrawal support group ! As I was going up to my room, another young woman and I bumped into one another, and her face was a picture.
"You !" she looked and sounded surprised. She had recognised us all, as a group, but, it turned out, she and I had talked a little on IG. She joined us for a while, never to leave our little group again. She was/is a lovely lady, and we found out, it was her birthday on the Monday. Well, I'd need to let someone know that.
We went for a late breakfast/early lunch, had the best chicken ceasar salad I've ever eaten in my life. Returned to the hotel for the pre-requisite nap, the workshop was early today, 6 - 7.30. What would that entail, I wonder ? More time with the guys after the workshop, or would they have to rush off ? Who knew. Whatever it was, it would be amazing, again.
Can't remember who arrived when. I think Lau said Larry was gonna be late. I can hear the chuckles in ya'll's heads from here. Larry had changed his hair, letting the fro free, albeit tied back in that gorgeous puff. The Fineapple. I took a lot more photo's this time, rather than just video's, and I got some really good ones.
The music, to me, was a lot slower and monotonous, especially when you hear it a thousand times in a couple of hours. The groups were getting hot too, and Larry lost his cool a bit, asking his group to let him know when the fuck they were going to give him some effort. I can understand completely, he and his brother were giving their all to teach peeps what they knew, giving their expertise, sweating bullets themselves, just to see apathy and a lacklustre performance, not even coming together. It was too hot for us who were just watching, I can't imagine what it was like for the dancers. It was affecting Lau too, as he had his group do some running on the spot again, usually a punishment for something.
It was hot as Hades again, maybe even hotter than yesterday, and I was stood with my back to the window with the sun literally burning a hole in my neck. My choice. Reason ?
My chat with Eleni the day before - she was really funny. You know when, as a teenager, you complained to your best friend about something or someone, and she would be like, tell me --- who's annoying you, I'll go kick the shit outta them -- She was like that, all squinty eyes and clenched teeth. -- Tell me who are they, what are they wearing, where are they sat ? Without pointing -- I told her. She said as they'd been sat there for a while, there wasn't much she could do, but that tomorrow (day 2), she'd fix it. Ha ! The seats were arranged differently, so that it was clear that you could only sit where the chairs were. None were in front of the mirrors. Today, the two women were relegated to the end of, or in the back row.
I decided to stand because I could get a better view, thus better footage and photos' and I wasn't wrong. Kelly, sat in front of me, had the surprise of her life, when Lau pulled up in front of her, took her hand for a second, glared right at her biting his lip, then left. I think she's still in shock, that or 7th Heaven.
After the workshop, as was the usual, everyone just milled around, waiting for the guys. They always took a few minutes for themselves, as they should, it being well known that neither of them liked to greet their fans while they were sweaty. Larry wasn't so bad, but Lau hates it. He once pleaded with me not to hug him while he was sweaty. Anyhoo,
