CHAPTER 11: MESSAGE FROM THE NIGHTMARE

MINJU'S POV

As soon as I enter my room, I immediately went to my bed and lay down, getting ready to sleep, there were a lot of things that happened today, I closed my eyes as I tried to sleep yet despite the tiredness, my mind kept waking me up.

*sigh*

Because of the frustrations of not being able to fall asleep, I stood up and went to my room's balcony, the sky was awake, and filled with shining stars, the moons of Oneiric are bright. I sit on the chair as I looked around from my balcony, This peace is beautiful, and I can understand how can someone wants to destroy this beautiful thing

I close my eyes as I feel the fresh air when I heard a soft sound and felt something around me like someone is in my room

"Who's that?"

I asked yet no one answered, I still feel this weird aura around me, I walked around slowly and summoned my dagger as I became alert.

"This is a room of an enchantress, show yourself!"

No one answered, I looked around but I didn't see anything until I heard something inside my cabinet. I slowly walked towards it and as soon as I open it a blinding light surround my room.

"What are we going to do now, Lucius? Master Helio is determined to do his plan"

My eyes widened as I heard the voice of my mother, I try to find where the voice comes from and but the light around is shining so bright.

"Mother? Father?"

"I don't know too, I think we should wait for the other"

I heard my father say, I was so frustrated as I try to find them in this place so I decided to use my magic, I close my eyes as I absorbed the bright light around me. After a few seconds, I opened my eyes and found myself in a familiar place.

This is my old room... in our old family house

"Wait for others? Lucius, our friend's life is in danger! Our world is in danger!"

"What do you want me to do then? We can't just go there and face the Dark Lord"

I follow my parents' voice, I walked outside and saw them talking.

"Mother, Father, It's me... Minju... I missed you"

I whispered, but obviously, they can't see not hear me, I felt my tears fall as I looked at them

"Mother, Father, Is there anything wrong?"

I turned around as I heard my younger self, standing in the front of my old room holding a huge stuffed toy. My mother went to my younger self and caressed my shoulder.

"No Minmin, there isn't"

She lied and showed her smile,

After a few moments, we heard a loud explosion outside, I tried to summon my weapon but it didn't appear. I looked at my parents and my younger self

Right, this was that war, when our parents fought and died, I remember my father told me something that day, but I can't remember it

"Lucius! He's here"

I saw Yena Unnie's father and older brother Alastair enter our house, wearing their armor.

My parents look at each then look at me

"Where are the other young enchantresses?"

"They are at the safe place, Master Kim"

Yena Unnie's brother answered, and my father just nodded. She went to me and kneeled to look directly into my eyes. I became alert to hear whatever his last words to me
