Instead of dropping me back to my house, Nancy suggested going back to hers, which I knew my parents wouldn't be concerned, as half the time they act as if I dont exist, so I agreed and she did a U turn to go back to hers. By now, the sun was faintly rising over the hills, and a golden glow hardly came through from the clouds. I shut my eyes and smiled, soaking up the golden glow while it lasted.
"We're here!" Nancy chimed as she stopped the car. I checked the time, 5:30am. We hurried up back into her room and she closed her door. "Wanna tel secrets, as we are friends- unless we aren't thats totally fine but I just want to get to know you better and I-" I got cut off my nancy saying, "yes, now lets go!" I smiled and we layed down next to eachother on her bed.
"Okay, have you... kissed someone before?" Nancy said, still looking at her roof, "surprisingly, no, not a single person, unless it's my mum then yeah- but I don't think that counts." I replied fixating on the dim golden shines on her ceiling. "Really?!" Nancy said, looking at me, "so you havent had your first kiss, EVER" "nope." I replied, now looking her in the eyes.
"Well," Nancy said, sitting up, "off topic, but I broke up with Jonathan, as he never called- and he hardly visits, and I haven't seen him in 7 months" "well deserved Nancy drew." Nancy felt a hot sensation covering her cheeks and nose and she turned away and covered up by saying, "sorry for saying that- that could've made you uncomfortable, since you haven't experienced a relationship before." Nancy said, turning to me again, "Nancy, you underestemate the amount of times Steve rambles about girls and it's honestly not a big deal." Robin smiled at Nancy.
"Okay," Nancy said, ready to face her fears, "Robin, what's your sexuality?" Robin looked back and chewed at her lip, "if I tell you, promise me you wont tell anyone-only my parents and Steve knows." Nancy looked at the girl with curiosity sparking withing her, "Robin, I'll just go." Robin nodded and Nancy said in a low tone,"I-I like boys..... and girls. I'm bisexual." Nancy jolted back into her laying position and said, "I know I'm sorry if you dont want to be my friend anymore it's understandabl-" She got cut of by Robin saying, "I'm lesbian, how could I possibly judge you?" Nancy blinked, sat up and looked at Robin, not realising how close the two were. "You...are?" Nancy said, looking at her pyjamas. Suddenly Nancy didn't know what came over her, and she pulled the short haired blonde, and kissed her.
