Alison's POV
I always think that birds are so lucky that they can fly without getting caged or ask any ones permission to fly, they are free to do anything, I wish I was one of them as well, so I can also fly like them in beautiful sky, I wish I will also get that freedom one day, so I can also go anywhere I want, live my life the way I want.
it's been a week since I had that conversation or should i say get a scolding from my dad and have a bodyguard, who follow he everywhere.
currently I'm sitting in my garden which is the only place in this mansion which gives me peace and he os standing two step behind me, with a blank face om his face and his hands were crossed on his chest, I sighed and turned to looked at him
" its been an hour and half come sit down, till when will you stand like this" I suggested as he was standing I like that since so long
"I'm fine"he said in his cold, stern voice and as usual blank face
I don't understand what his problem is, since last week when dad introduced us, he had behaved like we hadn't met before, I know we were not like best friends but still he saved me that night and I stayed at his place......
I huffed at his response and focused on my work, as I'm grounded, I can't go to my office and I have work from home while my right hand, deputy ceo and best friend other than Rebecca is handling everything there his name is Landon Morgan and he is really kind, open spirited guy but when he is angry he can kick anyone's ass, think of a devil and devil came that's what happened, his called arrived
"Yeah, everything fine at the office" I said receiving his call
"Yeah everything good but there is something I Wanna talk" he said in a nervous tone and I sighed
"say Landon what happned"i asked
"the file of that Australian project is missing and the meeting with the Australians is tonight, I don't know what to do"he said
" what how can you lost the file, it was having all the stairs of the project along with the presentation, we have to present to them " I said panicking at the situation
"I'm sorry but I searched everything I'm not getting it"
he replied
"Okay wait let me check my laptop it must have a copy of the presentation and search the file"i said and started looking into my laptop
"Yeah I found the presentation did you found the file" I asked
" no its nowhere, I had searched your whole cabin"he replied and I rubbed my forehead in frustration
"Ali, can't you do something go and ask you father to gave you the permission to go for the meeting, I can't handle the meeting as I don't know the details of the project"he said and I shook my head in a no
after the lecture he gave me last week I'm darn sure he will never allow me to leave the mansion so soon
"I can't landon" I replied while he sighed in defeat
" Ali, if you didn't showed up tonight, I don't think we will get the project" he said and I took deep breath not understanding what to do
" Fine, I will do something" I said and hang up .
now I have two choices first, ask dad's permission, which is not an option as he will not allow me to go anywhere after what happened last week and other option was sneaking out, but looking at the muscular giant person standing behind me won't let it be an easy task
It's 7 pm right now and the meeting will be at 8 in an five star hotel and I had told Suzy that I'm not going to have dinner, I'm not hungry today, I slowly opened my door and saw my bodyguard guarding my door
"ahmm..... I'm going to bed you can go as well, you can go take rest, okay good night" I said, instead of replying me looked at me with calculating eyes trying to figure out what I'm upto but then suddenly he nodded and started walking in opposite direction, I took a deep breath and patted my back encouraging to go for second step of my plan now
soon I got ready for the meeting wearing a formal dress, heels, nude makeup and letting my hair down in losse curls
I silently open my door and looked outside first right then left and after confirming that nobody was out, I stepped out of my room and tip toed downstairs and reached the kitchen, I took a sigh of relief seeing that the kitchen was empty and went towards the back door, till know seeing my skills of sneaking has confirmed it that I had done it quite a few times
soon I started walking at the back side of the lawn and reached the big wall of the corner of the backward which I have to jump off, I took a deep breathe mentally preparing myself for the jump
"Come on Ali, you can do this, it's just a simple wall nothing else" I encouraged myself and threw my heels other side of the wall and started climbing the wall, well I know how to climb it and jump off, Rebecca has trained me in sneaking out she says that this will help me forever
I climbed the wall and after looking right and left making sure that nobody had saw me sneaking out I jumped off the wall after landing safely near the road, I brushed my hands which got dirty while jumping the wall and started wearing my heels
" see I'm such a pro I'm sneaking out , dad won't be able to found about this ever, you are good at this Alison, I'm so proud of you" I said and called landon
" I'm coming, I will reach the hotel in 20 minutes okay, yeah see you there" I said and sighed
" I won't be doing this, if I were at your place" a rough familiar stern voice came from my back and I froze at My place, my face go paled and my hand started shaking in fear
