I woke up feeling terrible and then all the memories of last night came flooding back to me, everything
I went down stairs to make some breakfast when I heard my older sisters arguing "turn that shit off Angie"  Jess said really angry "it's just the news" "no it's not just the news that's CC's friend, their basically like family". When they saw me coming down the stairs Angie turned the channel and Jess acted like the whole conversation didn't happen. Once I sat down and fixed coco puffs Jess asked me a dumb question "so how did you sleep" so I gave her a dumb response "like shit". as I poured milk I could tell they didn't know what to say, I didn't care though I didn't want them to say anything I just wanted them to stop talking, for people to stop moving, and for the world to just stop, just for a minute because everything was moving way to fast.
"I'm going to Mike's ok" I said not asking I was telling her "yeah ok, whatever you want" I knew Jess only let me do it because she felt sorry for me.

"Mike,you obviously tapped into a baby monitor" Lucas said not convinced with this bullshit story Mike was telling us because he didn't wanna except Will is gone "Lucas you don't understand he spoke last night words, Christina you believe me right" I wanted to say I did but I couldn't we all saw him being dragged out of the lake "we saw his body Mike" I said fidgeting with my fingers. They kept talking about the likelihood of that being Will, at that point I didn't care I know what we saw last night "he's out there somewhere all we have to do is find him" Mike confidently said. "We need to get El to a stronger radio" Mike said "Mr.Clarke's Heathkit ham shack" Dustin thought of quickly "Heathkit is at school, there is no way we're gonna get the weirdo in there without anyone noticing, I mean look at her" Lucas said all us turning to the strange looking girl we found in the woods. And that's when we thought of it... A makeover

When she came out the room I was shocked she looked normal really pretty though "wow she looks" "pretty" Mike finished Dustin's sentence "good, you look pretty good" if his mouth hanged any lower it be on the floor "close your mouth before flies get in" I said bitterly. She walked to the mirror "pretty, pretty good", "you look very pretty El" I said she really did.

We were in class reading God knows what when a lady from the office came "Jessica Wright, come with me please" when I got there the cops were talking to me about the night we went to Steve's party , the last time I saw Barb "I just told her to leave if she wasn't having a good time it wasn't an argument and when I came back she was gone" "and then" the officer said " I went to the bathroom and went to sleep on Steve's coach" "next day" he kept pressing me "Nancy woke me up and we went home" "is that all I heard more happened" I was scared but I didn't wanna rat anyone out and possibly get in trouble "that's all".

We showed up to school heading straight to the Heathkit when Mr.Clarke caught us. "Hey, assembly's about to start" he talked  about being upset and mourning and we went along with it pretending to sulk "I get it I do, how hard this is, let's just be there for Will, huh" he said. this would be alot more heartfelt if we weren't lying through our teeth right now. He passed us the keys "the Heathkit is yours for the rest of the day" he then looked at El "I don't believe we met what's your name" "Eleanor" Mike rushed her to the answer. I was happy he didn't catch the faint sound of her actual weird name "she's my uh cousin" "second cousin" Dustin finished "she's here for Wills funeral" I said us all shaking our heads "well welcome to Hawkins middle Eleanor, wish you were here under better circumstances" " thank you" "where are you from exactly" Mr.Clark said digging a bit to deep for my anxious thoughts "a bad place" El tried to "Sweden!" Dustin beat her to it "I have alot of swedish family" " she hated it there" "cold" the boys were trying to convince Mr.Clarke but it only made us look more sketchy. "Shall we" he said trying to get out of this weird conversation "yep" I said ready to leave the awkwardness.

When we walked in the gym every one was already there which cause everyone to look at us when we came in "abort" but Lucas just pushed Dustin forward taking our seats.
Our principal is a dumbass if he think Will was a friend to all or some shit, Will was a friend but these people didn't give a shit about him until it was to late "look at these fakers" I turned to Mike to listen "they probably didn't even know his name till today" Lucas said "no I'm pretty sure they knew, half of them pushed him into the dirt enough to catch his name" I said kinda pissed off how there apathy turned into fake empathy all except Troy and James who couldn't even fake like they were sad, making fun of to what they thought was his death "mouth breather" El said "yep" I said then the bell rang all of us heading down the bleachers "hey Troy" Mike was brave always has been but dumb no, so I just couldn't understand why he would try to stand up to Troy. "You think this is funny" he said trying to be intimidating... It wasn't working "what did you say Wheeler" " I saw you guys laughing over there and I think that's a real messed up thing to do" "didn't you listen to the counselor Wheeler grief shows its self in funny ways" James said  "besides what's there to be sad about anyway, Wills in fairyland now flying around with all the other little fairies all happy and gay" they proceeded to walk away I was furious but at least it's over right... Wrong Mike just did it, he just pushed Troy I was shocked he had the balls to do something like that "your dead wheeler dead" I closed my eyes expecting to hear cries, a hit, anything but there was nothing, unil I heard something I didn't expect "dude, Troy peed himself" my eyes jolted open and he infact did pee I started laughing because what the fuck I turned to my right and saw her and her nosebleed and I was happy at least for that minute.

When we ran out of the gym in fear of getting in trouble we went straight to the A.V club room "now what" "she'll find him" Mike replied to Dustin she was channeling through networks eyes closed "she's doing it she finding" him "this is crazy" I said because this i truly some comic book shit "calm down she just closed her eyes" once Lucas said that the light bulb broke like clockwork.
I started hearing heavy breathing and screaming "Will where are you" I screamed and the boys were screaming things too but he couldn't hear us. "It's like home but it's so dark, it's so dark and empty and it cold, mom!" He kept shouting for his mom and I could hear the fear and pain in his voice "mom,please" was the last we heard him say before the Heathkit caught fire. El couldn't move she was weak, drained. we all carried her out until we found a cart and hurried out of school.
I don't know what's going on i just don't understand, I saw his body but I heard his voice. I don't know what to believe but I do know that has to be Will.
