Talking to strangers

So I was walking to school and across the street from it was this man. This man was looking at me so I was all like just ignore him. So right when I walked past him he starts to talk. He was all like

"Oh are you going to walk with me?" I looked at him to see if he was talking to me. Sure thing he was looking at me I decided to walk away that was until he was all like are you coming with me or not I looked at him and said the heck under my breath and walked away then he started to yell hello over and over again than I turned around and said hi all awkward like  it wasn't til then that I realized he was talking into a head set. I felt so embarrassed.
