YUNA
"The answer is die! The live door is a trap!" Arisu yelled. We all barged through the door. We closed the door again. If Arisu wasn't this smart, we all would've died. In the fire. "The time limit for this room is one minute and twenty seconds." "If your reasoning works, we'll be able to survive!" Karube said. "You're awesome, Arisu!" Chota said. "The game is not based on luck, we can clear it together." I said. "According to my drawing, the next is die too." Arisu said. "Alright, ready?" Karube asked. We all nodded. Arisu opened the door. We all ran into the room. The boys had a group hug. Me and the girl looked at eachother and laughed. She closed the door. "The time limit for this room is one minute and ten seconds." "What's the next one?" Karube asked. "It's live." Arisu said. We were in the next room, but Arisu looked confused. "There's no door in the front." He said. I looked right in front of me, but I didn't see a door. "What's next?" Chota asked. "Since the right door is out of the question, should we choose one on the outer wall?" Karube asked. We walked to the death door, but Arisu stopped us. "Wait! I might have missed something. The room we are in, is in the back-left corner of the building. The clear condition is to leave this building. We're forced to choose the die door, which leads us out. But if I recall, there is no gap between this and the neighboring building. The live door brings us to the room where the girl died. Why isn't there a door the the back of the building? I must've missed something. What could it be? There's no space for any tricks in the rooms we've come through. If that's the case..." Arisu said. "There's no time! We'll die!" The girl said. "You didn't even open one door!" Karube said. "You were the one who pushed it onto me!" The girl said back. "Give me a break!" Karube said. "Wait, Chota! You took a video of the first room, right?" Arisu asked. Chota immediately looked for the video. We stopped at the part right before the girl died. "There's no door in the room she died! There is a door here! The room where the girl died, isn't square! There's another room behind the live door!" Arisu yelled. We all ran into the room, but Chota was still halfway into the room when the fire broke out. He burned his leg and fell to the ground. We immediately closed the door. Karube took of his vest and wrapped it around Chota's leg. "The time limit for this room is 10 seconds." "Ten seconds?" I asked panicked. The girl walked to the live door. "It's die!" Arisu yelled as he opened the death door. When he opened the door, nothing happened. "Hurry up and get here!" I yelled as I ran into the room. We got out of the room. We came into the hallway. "Go downstairs!" Arisu said. So we did. We went all the way down the high stairs. Karube helped Chota, he couldn't walk. His left leg was burned. "Game clear. Congratulations!" The phone said. "Thank you so much." I said out of breath. "It's all thanks to you guys. Thank you." The girl said. The girl looked in front of her with a weird look. There was a table with something on it. She walked towards it. There was a card. It was a card from a card game. 3 of clubs. Something appeared on our phones." To the survivors of the game, we will now supply you with a visa. We will supply all game survivors with a three-day visa." The phone said. "Visa?" I asked. A man appeared in the distance. He didn't look to good. "I'm going to drop out of the game! You guys. There's no end to this game, no matter how much you clear. My visa ends today. Finally. This is the end." The man said. A laser came out of the air and went right through his head. He died, just like the school girl. In the exact same way. All the lights went out. We walked towards the man. "You'll die if your visa expires by then. Our visas will end too. Three more days. If you don't want to die, you'll have to keep playing the games. You can skip one game." The girl said. We walked past the man. I went home. That phone we got from the game, I threw it on the ground while I was on my way to the car. I called Sakura as soon as I was in my car. She answered. "What happened?" She asked. "You skipped the first game. You now have to join all the other games." I said. "I'm not a player. I was never in." Sakura said. You were there when everyone disappeared. We were called players. So you are a player. You're doing the next game with me." I said. Then, I hung up. I started my car and drove home. When I arrived, I saw no one was there. I called my father. He answered immediately. "Where are you, dad?" I asked. "I'm at Beach, Yuna. Continue with the games." He said. Then he hung up. He knew this was gonna happen and he didn't say anything? What a traitor. I am in danger. I can die! And he doesn't even care.
DAYS LATER
There's a new game at Toei Sendagaya Apartment. The last game was scary. We had to be fast. I've ran. I almost tripped. I was on heels, if I knew I was gonna play a game I would've put on something else. So today I did. I was wearing grey sweatpants, a purple croptop and my white Nike Air Forces 1. My hair was down for the first time in ages. I had a hair tie around my pulse, just in case. I walked to the building where the game was at 9 PM. I wasn't alone, I was with Sakura. We had to walk up some stairs so we could enter the building. On top of the stairs, I heard a sound. That meant we had entered the game and couldn't leave. We saw lots of other people. There was a table with phones. I walked towards the table and grabbed one. "You too, Sakura." I said. She grabbed one, looking worried. "There are currently 12 participants. Please wait until the game commences. One minute till registration closes. A boy with a blue vest and a hat came up to me. "Excuse me, do you know where all the people in Tokyo went?" He asked. I shook my head. Arisu and Karube entered. After them, another guy I didn't know entered. He was big, masculine and tall. "Registration has closed. There are a total of 15 participants. The game will now commence." The phone said. Arisu and Karube were talking about the girl with the bangs from yesterday. Her name is Shibuki, I heard. "Difficulty, Five of Spades." The phone said. "Five of spades?" Sakura asked. "It's a physical game. Strength is everything here. I'm Nitobe. Nice to meet you." Some man said, sticking out his hand. "Each mark has a different meaning?" I asked. "Exactly!" Nitobe said. I shook his hand. "The mark on a trump card signifies the game's genre. Club refers to a team battle and Diamond refers to a battle of wits. As for Heart, it's the most troublesome one." He said. "Troublesome?" Sakura asked. "It's a game of betrayal where you play with people's hearts." He said. "What about the numbers?" I asked. "The difficulty level. The higher the number, the harder it is to clear." He answered. "Game: A Game of Tag. Rule: Run away from the tagger." The phone said. "Tag? That's easy." Sakura said. "You might think that. It isn't. In yesterday's game, a girl died because she went into the wrong room." I said to her. Sakura looked at me wide eyed. "Who's the tagger?" Arisu asked Karube. "How am I supposed to know?" He answered. "Clear condition: Discover the safezone hidden in one of the building rooms within the time limit. You clear the game when this objective is fulfilled." The phone said. Time limit: 20 minutes. After the 20 minutes, the time bomb hidden in the building will explode. Two minutes until the game starts." The phone said. We had 2 minutes now to go through the building. When those 2 minutes have passed, the tagger will come. I looked at Arisu and Karube. They signed me to go over to them. I walked over to them. I signed to Sakura that she should come too. "What even is your name?" Karube asked. "Nakumura. Yuna Nakumura." I said. "Who is she?" Arisu asked. "I'm Sakura. Her friend." Sakura said. "Well Yuna and Sakura, let's go." They said.
