Pete's POV

I ran outside after knocking out Vegas...I hailed a taxi immediately... for one last time I look towards his window and saw Nop staring at me then returned back inside.

When I arrived at the main family's mansion I immediately went to the backyard. As I entered.. I hear cries...why are they crying? Oh! I nearly forgot...Vegas told me that someone died...I walked towards the crying voices.

I saw the figure of my master... he's weeping... was he close with the deceased?

"Ai Pete!! Huhuhuhu...we will definitely miss you!!!...if you want to tell us something..you can talk to Pol in his dreams.." he said while wailing.

"Why me Khun Noo?! It should be Arm.. he's braver than me" Pol said frantically...

This idiot...

"Khun Noo!!" I called out to him. "I'm here!"

Being shocked was an understatement of the day..they we're looking left and right..almost panicking and scared..

Maybe they are panicking because they cannot see me because of this thick smoke?

I walked a few more steps so I can be visible to them.

They all looked at me.

"Ai Pete!! I said you should visit Pol in his dreams! Why are you showing up now??! Later okay?! Ai Pol! Sleep already and meet him there.." Khun Noo says while backing up..he hides behind Pol and Arm.

"Ai Pete we will pray for you everyday..please rest in peace.." Khun Kinn adds.

"But I'm not dead yet Khun Kinn.. I am alive.. I thought Uncle Pong died??" I stated the obvious and asked.

"Who's Uncle Pong?" Khun Kinn asks

Wait ..why would he ask? Doesn't he know who he's mourning right now?

That would be impossible..he always gets the most updated informations..

"Don't believe what Pete says Kinn... he's luring you to come with him in the afterlife!" Porche says. Even my best friend doesn't believe me??

What's happening here? Did Vegas lie to me? That bastard..

"I am not dead Ai Porche! I'm really alive!" I said insisting that I am REALLY ALIVE...

Nobody believes what I said.

However Khun Kinn is carefully approaching me...

"Ai Kinn!! You come back here! He's going to take you! Don't leave me here!" Porche shouts once again.

Khun Kinn didn't listen instead he's coming closer to touch my shoulder.

"Aghhhh!!! Ai Porche grab Kinn!! He's being hypnotized by Pete's ghost!! I don't wanna lose my precious little brother! Who's gonna take over the family now if he disappears?!! I don't wanna manage the family! I'm too busy to do that!" Khun Noo shouts.

Busy with watching drama series you say..haaaaaa

Khun Kinn ignored what his older brother was saying instead he looked relieved when he confirmed that I was alive.

"Everyone!! Pete is truly alive!" Khun Kinn diverted his gaze at them to assure my existence.

See??!! I'm alive guys!!

"Ai Pete!!! Huhuhuhu..come here my Pete!! Let me hug you." Khun Noo said while running towards me for a hug.

Then all of them joined.

"Guys! Please don't hug me too tight..my wounds hurt.." I said while grunting.

They loosened their hug on me. Looking stunned.

"What happened to you Pete?" Khun Noo asked me looking worried.

"I'm fine Khun Noo..I was running away from a large dog on my way here and tripped." I replied.

That was a lie.

"What?! You've been my bodyguard for years and you just easily tripped? Ai Pete! Maybe I've been to lenient on you..you must start training again after you recover! Can't have you trip so easily.. anyways ATTENTION!! everyone let's celebrate Pete's comback! Let's go Pol and Arm we have many things to prepare.." he said then walked away. He looks happy and excited now.. earlier he was weeping while wiping his nose full of snot... I really missed this master of mine.

It's great to be HOME.

I was about to be relieved but....

"Now that the big kid is gone.. let's hear the reason why you are looking like that Pete." It's Khun Kinn's turn now to ask..

What am I gonna say? I know my reasoning earlier was not plausible for Khun Kinn.

"I'm really fine Khun Kinn..just wounds and bruises here and there...what I said earlier was the truth..." I said sincerely hoping he would not see through my lies.

He looks at me questioning my statement.. I was getting uncomfortable..good thing Porche noticed it..

"Ai Kinn don't ask him anymore.. just let him be for now...he looks tired..we can always ask him later.." Porsche said to convince Khun Kinn.

Khun Kinn was about to refute but Porche squeezed his arm.

"Haa[sighs] ..okay go ahead and rest now Pete.." he said..

I felt relieved now I can finally rest...

I went to my quarters.. I immediately went to the bathroom and took a shower..my body feels heavy and some of my wounds hurt especially my wrists..

I looked at my wrists..they were cut really deep.. I may have banged it too strongly earlier..

Suddenly tears started to fall off my eyes..

"You're going to be okay Pete.. you'll see" I said to myself in assurance.

After taking a long shower I got out of the bathroom feeling refreshed.. I got startled because I saw Porche sitting at his bed with a medicine kit beside him.

"How long have you been sitting here?" I asked him..if he was here from the minute I started to take a shower might have heard me crying..what do I say if he asks me?

"Yes... you're done showering right? Come here I'll treat your wounds.." he said while tapping the space beside him..

"Okay.." I said as I sat beside him.

He treated my wounds and applied ointments on my bruises.

"Pete you know you can tell me everything right?" He asked me..while still focusing on treating me..

"I know...but like I said earlier.. everything is fine.. I really was just being chased by a large dog..you know I'm scared of them right?" I told him with a sincere voice.

"Okay..if you don't wanna talk about it now..just call me if you're ready okay?" He said and stood up..he patted my back and went out of the room.

I felt guilty for not letting my best friend know about what happened to me.. I know he's worried about me..but I can't tell him about that thing... I just... I'm still confused and angry at that bastard...
