AVERY'S POV:

I got out of bed, the clock flashed

6 AM

I groaned remembering it was a Monday, I walked out of my room and into the kitchen. My mother was sitting at the table, drinking coffee.

"Good Morning, Sweetie." She smiled,

"Good morning mom." I said back, heading to the cupboard to get some cereal and milk. I filled the bowl with cereal then poured the milk. I sat down in front of my mother and started eating my breakfast. There was barely any light outside, but I stared at the trees.

"Anything wrong dear?" My mother asked

"I'm fine, nothing's wrong." I said, not even staring at her.

5 minutes passed, I finished my breakfast and headed back to my room. I sat on my bed and took my phone, 6:10 am. I went to Spotify and looked for my playlist. I finally found it and headed to the bathroom.

I took 30 minutes taking a bath and finally picked my outfit for the day. And got dressed. I got my bag and headed out the door. My father was finally awake. I didn't even bother to look at him and I just yelled "Bye" And slammed the door

IRIS' POV:

I got up and it was 8 AM.

I swore under my breath and ran to the bathroom.

"30 minutes until my classes start" I thought, I was rushing through my shampoo bottles and almost tripped in the shower. I got out and grabbed my towel and started rubbing my hair with my towel .

I ran to my room and searched through my closet and just grabbed a pair of clothes. I finally got dressed and bolted out the door.

"Good morning Iris-" My brother said but I pushed him away

"Bye!" I yelled and ran to my school

Avery's POV:

I sat down on my desk and waited patiently for the others to arrive. I was bored so I started drawing on my sketch pad. I managed to draw a pirate with a pet unicorn. It looked silly but I liked it. The other students arrived and the teacher also arrived.

When the teacher was taking attendance, someone burst through the door. It was someone I  have never seen before. It was obvious she was flustered and her hair was all over her face, her ash grey hair all over her face was kind of adorable.

"I'm so sorry I'm late!" She said, I was staring at her face, I was staring at her honey brown eyes. Her features were feminine, well obviously she was a girl.

"Everyone, this is your newest classmate. Please introduce yourself" The Teacher announced

IRIS' POV:

"Everyone, this is your newest classmate. Please introduce yourself"  The teacher asked

There was a girl staring at me,

"Shit. She's probably judging me because of my outfit." I thought, I was wearing a hoodie with sweat pants.

"Well, uhm. My name is Iris Hatch and I'm 16. My zodiac sign is a Virgo."

"Thank you for introducing yourself miss Iris. You may sit beside, Avery. Do you mind if you take her to see the school?" He asked The girl who was staring at me earlier.

"Of course, sir." Avery answered.

I sat down beside her, nervous and looked at the teacher. I was listening to everything he said. I could feel her staring at me. I brushed my hair away. She was definitely judging me because of that, I thought.

Her staring at me was so intense and looked at her and asked her

"Is there something wrong?" I asked, shocked at myself. I didn't even know i had the courage to say that.

AVERY'S POV:

"Is there something wrong?" She asked me.
I was staring at her so i'm sure she was annoyed.

"Oh i'm sorry, Did i bother you? You were just really pretty" I said. She blushed a bit and smiled,

"Thanks" She said, "You're pretty as well."

"Thank you" I told her. "I'm Avery, 16 as well and i'm an Aries"

"Hi Avery" She grinned. I felt my heart do backflips, i smiled so wide.

There was hair on my face but i didn't care. I just smiled and stared at her.

We started chatting then the teacher decided to be a mood killer and told us to focus on the class. we made eye contact and we both had to hide our laughter.
